We spent four nights here on a sightseeing trip to Seattle and selected hotel based on location. Were we right here! We took the light rail Link in from the airport for $1.25 each (senior rate) and got off at the end - Westlake Center. From there we had some initial difficulty finding the entrance into the hotel even after asking the guards. At Westlake Center one can pick up the Link, the monorail to Space Needle, the free buses. Plus one can walk to Pike Market in about 10 minutes.
We upgraded to a Deluxe Queen which had about 265 square feet and took the breakfast package.
The food in the hotel Andaluca's (where we ate breakfast and had one dinner) and loved the bar lounge Oliver's where we went every night for drinks and appetizers. Light snacks and sandwiches here - could be your dinner. Lots of locals drop in to bar. Very lively and young.
Even though hotel was built in 1927 and it does feel old, bathroom is modernized and staff service is outstanding. Really helpful people. We plan on staying here at our next visit in about 6 months.

We stayed 2 nights & were very pleased with the hotel & our rooms. The rates were reasonable for such a nice hotel. The lobby is very well decorated with plenty of plush seating. We didn't pay the $20/night parking, because we took the rail from the airport for $2.50/pp to the station connected to the hotel and it was not a problem at all if you have only 1 bad with rollers. The shopping mall is also connected to the hotel. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly from check in to check out. The rooms were nice with unlimited quality shampoo, conditioner, and lotion dispensers & soaps. The bed was very comfortable & our room had a good view. The room was quiet & very pleasant. The staff left a couple truffles in our friend's room, who was celebrating a b-day. The Andaluca restaurant was excellent for breakfast and the food & drinks we had in the bar one evening were extremely good as well. The hotel was centrally located and we walked a few blocks to almost everything (to Pike Market, Argosy cruise station, to the railway which travels to the space needle, ducks, etc). There is also a PF Changs across the street, very convenient, & Starbucks is on the same block. The only negative experience at this lovely hotel was that the fitness room is too warm; the portable A/C unit just could never cool the room enough to enjoy your workout. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful and I would definitely return to this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel right in the best part of Seattle. Close to shopping and Pikes Place Market. Excellent staff with wonderful service. Nice rooms, a little small but very nice. The hotel has free valet parking (a plus in downtown) so be prepared to tip. The hotel has a nice resturaunt for breakfast, but if you are on the move there are Starbuck's, Seattle's Best Coffee or Tully's Coffee on just about every corner.

This was a classy joint. It was non-pretentious and encompassed what a downtown hotel should be. The interior was vintage yet classy. The service was 5-Star. The only thing I noticed was that the walls seemed thin. As I sat at the desk in our room drinking my coffee I could hear the conversation in the room next to us. That was the absolute only thing I noticed as a negative though. The downstairs bar was great! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a classy, nice hotel that isn't trying to prove something. We plan on going back to Seattle next year and will be booking Mayflower Park!

The Mayflower is perfectly located within walking distance of all must sees in Seattle. The staff and concierge service could possibly be the most knowledgeable and friendly folks I have had to work with in quite some time. The hotel has this vintage feel from entrance to room. The rooms have size and are very workable for two people. If you need a break the hotel offers a great bar/restaurant for those who are coming back from a long day of touring etc... The mall and monorail are connected to the hotel so getting to the space needle is as simple as going up a few escalators. I highly recommend this Seattle hotel for anyone who is traveling to Seattle for business or pleasure. One can only hope you will enjoy this place as much as I.

Stayed here for 4 nights. We were pleasantly surprised the room we booked, which had 2 queen beds, also had two full baths, and a living room. Had a corner room on the fifth floor and it was very quiet. Hotel is conveniently attached to the Westlake Center. You can ride the monorail ($2 one-way) to the Seattle Center from the Westlake Center and there is a station to catch the metro transit (bus tunnel - ride free from 6 a.m. - 7 p.m.). Only a 10 minute walk to Pike's Market, 15 minute walk to Seattle Aquarium and Miner's Landing. Metro transit stops conveniently located all around. Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived early back from an Alaskan cruise. No rooms were available at the time so after leaving our bags with concierge and a trip to get some coffee and breakfast one was available. (side note: cannot believe how quiet Seattle is early Sunday morning). Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous.

I chose this hotel as my partner likes historic places and for it's great location being central downtown Seattle and near to transport such as the light rail to the airport and monorail to go to Seattle Center. The decor is subtle and feels like a average persons nice hotel from yesteryear rather than plush like a Fairmont style hotel (which is what I think many expect it to be).

I went for the deluxe room as I do not like small standard hotel rooms, the room was larger than expected, but a very small bathroom. During the day the room was noisy with banging from around and upstairs, however was quiet at night. The mattress was uncomfortable for me and I woke many times during he night with a sore back (stretches and a hot shower fixed that), my partner had no problem though.

Olivers and the restaurant were nice and if you want to eat on the cheap, there's plenty of places to chose from next door in Westlake Center

The room was on special at time of booking, otherwise I wouldn't have chosen this hotel given the amount to chose from in Seattle. If I needed to quickly book a hotel downtown for a night I would stay here again, but if I had time I'd try somewhere else due to the mattress and normal price.
