This hotel is so well located for Pikes Market and all other Seattle sights. The front of desk guys and gals are absolute treasures, nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the windows opened for fresh air. Bed was comfortable and shower good even though a little small. The decor in the hotel is very quaint and does remind you of an old Victorian 'brothel'. All the other guests staying when we did were very friendly, no shady characters even though the area the hotel is located in has some very colourful characters. At no time did we feel unsafe. All in all a great place to stay, would definitely recommend and stay again.

This hotel is very well located so that you can forget about your car when you are there as it is down town. The staff is extremely efficient and kind. My son and I spent 11 nights there and we really appreciated. The only point is that it could be a little bit noisy sometimes but not to such a bad extent. There is also no airco in the room but in a place like Seattle you don t really need it and it is healthier that way. Thanks again to the staff there for their help and yes I would definitely recommend this good value hotel. It is also very clean, and you can reach the airport easily from there since the light rail is almost next door.

Room Tip: Higher floors are not noisy

This is a quirky, quaint hotel. Great location, wonderful for a quick getaway as it's easy to walk to Pike Street Market or the monorail or the light rail to the airport.
Parking is attached to the hotel but it's convenient and reasonable for inner city parking.
The front desk staff (thank you Robert) were more than helpful and really made our stay.
What the website doesn't say is that wi-fi is free which was great to know.

Will be back!

The Moore Hotel is where vintage and modern meet. It is in ideally situated two blocks from Pike Place Market. The rooms are comfy and the staff friendly. The room keys are actually keys, which i find pretty cool! We will be back!

Highly recommended hotel for a very large number of reasons. Location is perfect, staff is friendly, accomodations are clean and reasonably confortable, buidling is kind of old spooky but with lots of character, and the price is just correct for what you get. Elevator was out of order when we stayed, but it didn't really matter to us. If you expect luxury, go somewhere else; but if you are traveling with the family and looking for a safe and clean place to spend the night without spending your entire savings: this is the place to be. Myself, can't even think of looking somewhere else if I ever come back to Seattle.

We stayed at the hotel one night. There is a tremendous variety of room types here. We enjoyed ours. I'm not sure if all rooms were upgraded at the same time but ours was fairly nice. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean. This is an old hotel and it is very quirky... which makes if fun. The ceilings were very high. The doors are solid wood, original to hotel? Our bathroom was old but clean. Only two blocks from Pikes Place Market. Short walk to City Center. Two blocks from the light rail to the airport which makes a cab unnecessary. We will stay again.

Location is very convenient ... 3 blocks from the Light Rail terminal, and a walkable jaunt (if you're in decent shape) from the Market and Seattle Center.

First impression was that the place more resembles a 19th century brothel replete with leopard print rugs, dim hallways, and sheer curtains in the hallways. Furniture is vintage 1950s stuff that your aunt used to have. Place still issues the metal keys for rooms which is a bit troublesome for someone who works security in the hospitality industry.

For those with less toleration for lack of amenities ... there is no air conditioning - other than a small fan - in the rooms, the windows open, but have no screens, and [interestingly] the sprinkler system does not cover the rooms, only the hallways. The lack of any protection on the windows would be concerting IF you're traveling with small children, and rent a room above the first floor. The bathrooms within the rooms are tiny.
