Excellent location downtown, close to the waterfront market, and next to the convention center. Rooms are comfortable enough, but the hotel coukd use sprucing up and is showing its age. The bar is small as are public areas in general, but there are fine breakfast spots within a short walk.

Room Tip: My room was isolated, at the back of a corridor. It was quiet and private.

Visitor_from_Athens - Thank you for staying at the Sheraton Seattle and appreciate your latest review. The Hotel is most definitely in a great location and makes it very easy to enjoy everything that Seattle has to offer. The Hotel has undergone various renovations lately in both our Union and Pike tower guestrooms as well as our brand new Fountain Wine Bar space that is located just off our lobby. I am very sorry that we did not meet your expectations with the look and feel of our space. I do hope your travels have you returning to Seattle and would love to welcome you back to the Hotel.

Warm regards,
Trevor

6th & Pike is a prime location, but the rooms are dated, the amenities are few, and the young, hip staff couldn't care LESS!! Took over an hour to get someone to repair my malfunctioning TV, and then only after threatening to come to the lobby & demand a room change. Stay here only if forced to do so--as I was !!

This is a very nice hotel. Highest rating on customer satisfaction and a great location. You can walk to the Pike's Market, Ivar's and Crab Pot. The rooms are nice and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

During a recent trip up through the Seattle area we stayed at the Sheraton for a few days. The central location, within walking distance for some attractions and a short drive for others, makes this a solid spot for your trip. Check-in was direct and relatively efficient -- though I did see lines forming a little later in the afternoon.

The room was good-sized and comfortable. We had cocktails a couple of times in the lounge, which was pleasant and the service was excellent. We did go for brunch and encountered a bit of a wait.

There are also several world-class restaurants within a short walk of the hotel.

The property is about 5 to 6 blocks from Pike Place making for a pleasant walk. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is 2 blocks from the monorail and Nordstrom.

The hotel is used by Holland America for passengers arriving early. Transfer from the hotel to Pier 91, Holland's pier, is easy and fairly quick. Using this hotel, I was able to explore downtown the day prior to departure as well as the morning of departure.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed provided a restful night's sleep after walking all over the downtown area.

Spent 4 days at the Sheraton uring a recent conference. The building was immaculate and the rooms well-maintained. In addition to comfortable beds the rooms were well-insulated from noises inside and outside the hotel. Yes, I do believe that was Starbucks Coffee in our coffee maker.
The staff was especially courteous and helpful at all points and although the housekeepers did a great job of taking care of us,I never saw any of them out and about (I was in and out throughout the day for conference related activities-but I am still surprised that they were not to be seen).
Seattle is a bit more environmentally responsible than most cities I've visited. One of the offers made by the Sheraton was that you could forego room service on any given day in exchange for a $5 gift card which could be used at any of the shops or restaurants in the hotel. There were containers to collect recyclables, compost, etc almost everywhere you went in Seattle.
The exercise room and pool were well-equipped and featured a fabulous view of the city and Mount Ranier off in the distance.
The hotel itself is conveniently located for those who like to walk around and get the downtown Seattle experience. Very nice place to stay!

Room Tip: A little more efficient if you stay on the one of the lower 10 floors elevator -wise.

Booked 3 rooms here just after Christmas, for one night. Paid $130/ night through Hotels.com and were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. They managed to book our rooms all together, 27th floor with lovely views of the water and downtown. Two of the rooms were joined by a locked door which was great for our kids to have more space to play. Beds were comfy. My mom's room had a drainage issue in the bathtub which was quickly rectified. Requests for cribs for the kids were accomodated quickly. Great downtown location, walking distance to everything.

There was an impressive gingerbread competition/ display in the main lobby during our stay and it was a nice added bonus.

The pool was too cold for small kids but that's hardly a sticking point. We were also charged for an additional night of parking ($44 a night by the way, ouch) because some DB gave our name at the front desk. Not the hotel's fault at all (and if you own a 2012 BMW, you're a jerk LOL)

Only complaint is that the front desk was always ridiculously busy - they need to hire more people. Oh and the concierge wasn't terribly helpful or pleasant.

Overall a pleasant experience and we will book here again.

We appreciate you taking the time to review and we are glad we could start your holiday off to a good start!
I have shared your feedback with our Director of Front Office so that the services failures you experienced at the Front Desk and Concierge Desk may be rectified.
We are appreciative that you enjoyed the amenities that we provide and hope that you will return soon to take advantage of our fabulous rooms. We do cater to the family travelers, and are considered Holiday central for many families looking to enjoy the downtown holiday shopping traditions and enjoy our Gingerbread displays that benefit JDRF charities.

Again, thank you and we hope to see you in Seattle again soon.
