“Perfect location!”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

A friend & I spent a long weekend in Seattle. We were lucky enough to snag a room at this hotel since there were a couple of other places completely sold out due to the festivals in the area.
We paid a premium price but it was completely worth it!

We were within walking distance to Westlake Station which we used to access the Light Link Rail & Monorail. Walking distance from Pike Place Market & practically anything you want to see in the downtown area.

Our room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was spacious, beds were comfortable. I enjoyed the Chihuly artwork throughout.
The front desk was a bit slow but they had lots of guests at all times.

Would definitely return if I'm in the area again.

Stayed here for 4 nights to see the NY Mets play the Mariners. The location is ideal. Two blocks to the monorail for the Seattle needle and the Light Link Train station. Not only easy access to the stadiums but ideal travel to and from the airport. And, Pike's market was only a few minutes away as well.
Stayed in the newer Union Tower and everything was new. However, there is one serious design flaw -- the bathroom door was made of frosted glass. Not a problem during the day -- you could not see through it -- BUT if anyone got up in the middle of the night the bathroom light flooded the entire room. Light sleepers beware!!!
I did not eat in the restaurant. The lobby was spacious and comfortable and the WIFI was free there but I believe it should be free in my room as well.
The concierge was helpful but the bell captains outdid themselves -- the minute it started raining the hotel umbrellas were placed front and center for guests to borrow -- outstanding.

Hello jan1414~

Thank you for your recent stay and the great feedback here. I’m glad our hotel was such a great base for all your adventures around the city. And I do apologize about the bathroom light being a disturbance through the glass doors. I will check with our engineers to see what remedy we can put in place for future guests. Hopefully we get the chance to welcome you back soon!

Warmly,

Hotel is 3 star at a 5 star price. Very busy hotel with a great location. Good beds and clean rooms but starting to get dated. Prices for Seattle hotels are high due to $15 hour minimum wage. Plenty of good nearby restaurants outside hotel.

Thank you for your kind words about our staff, cleanliness and overall loaction! We pride ourselves on delivering a great product and even better service. We apologize if you found the prices in Seattle's downtown market to be distasteful and are continously striving to enhance value with what it is we offer and charge for.

We had a pleasant stay in Seattle at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel.
We booked our room through AAA Travel at the rate of $245, this included the club level.
Club level gave us access to the Club Lounge on the 32 floor. The club was available for free soda and water 24 hours, buffet breakfast was adaquate and evenning hors d'oeuvres was enough for a simple meal on a budget.

Location was perfect, shopping and hotel nearby. About one block to Westlakes Center where you can catch the light rail to and from the airport. We had a rental car and used valet parking at the hotel, with tax this was $46 per day. If you plan to stay in the city you don't need the car use a taxi or Uber. We planned to make a few trips outside the city so we needed the rental car. But there are several rental car agencies located a few blocks from the hotel.

Side trips:
Boeing Tour ( 8415 Paine Field Blvd, Mukilteo WA), call ahead and reserve your ticket.
Future of Flight Museum ( Mukilteo WA ) near Boeing Tour.
We had lunch at Arnies Restaurant (Mukilteo Speedway & 2nd Ave ) 5-10 minutes from the
Boeing tour. Lots of good food overlooking water and ferry boat.

Room Tip: Request Club floor, may have to pay extra but worth the price.

Hello T S~

Thank you for your review. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed our Club Lounge and central downtown location. And it’s a great tip that a car is not needed, if you are not planning to leave the city. Seattle is very walkable and parking can be rather expensive. We’re looking forward to your next visit!

I stayed here for a quick one-night trip to Seattle. I had a Deluxe room in the newer Union St. tower. The room was new and quite nice although the TV was small. Service was good but the hotel was incredibly busy due to what appeared to be a couple of tour groups and cruise passengers. We tried to eat breakfast in the main restaurant and were told the wait would be at least 30 minutes which was disappointing. I was given free Wi-Fi as an SPG Gold member.

The location is great with easy access to all the downtown Seattle attractions and restaurants.

This is a solid downtown 4-star hotel.

The Sheraton Hotel in Seattle is in a perfect position for walking the City. About 5- 7 mins to Pike Market, the mono-rail etc
The room was fine, kingbed as requested, but they could spend-up a little and improve on their towels - thin, small.
Wi-fi was $10.95 + taxes per day for in- room use, but if you wanted to walk in off the street, sit on a comfy couch in foyer it was free - I think that needs to be re-thought Sheraton !!

Breakfast was fine there, but there are better, cheaper options down Pike Market way.
Valet parking was expensive per day ( I wasn't paying it) but I think about $40 per day.

Staff in general very helpful & friendly, but I asked the concierge to leave a message for family when they booked in & the message was left on our phone not theirs!!

The ambience in generalis very clean, fresh - very typically Sheraton. We stayed in The Pike St. tower but other family members stayed in Union St Tower & said their room was more updated & modern - can't comment as I didn't see it, but the quality of ours was fine.

Bed & bedding, especially the pillows was luxurious

I cannot think of anything negative to say (and I tried)! Oh, perhaps the TV could be bigger! Everything is almost perfect. We stayed a couple of days at Hotel W before going on an Alaskan cruise. W was one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed in. Now we're back from the cruise, and the Sheraton is outstanding for roughly the same price. Spacious room, many windows, clean, well appointed, excellent service--simply first rate all around.
