“Superb Place, Fun, & Great History”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Incredible place! Superbly located -- we could walk to Space Needle, Pikes Market Place, Wharf Tours, Olympic Gardens, Pioneer Square -- literally everywhere and anywhere. The memories are super fun -- Beatles, Carole King, Ray Charles ! Staff and everyone super friendly. Soaps and little extras are superb -- full sized! Lots of towels! Very upbeat décor -- makes you feel you got your money's worth. We even forgot our I-pad after check out and the cleaning staff returned it to the front desk! Hotel extremely accommodating -- allowed us to store our bags AFTER check out so we could keep touring Seattle until our evening flight out. You have a choice of either City View side or the Water View side. EITHER side is spectacular --- the hotel is literally built on the pier and in the past, used to allow fishing from out side your window (so we are told). There is a picture hanging of the Beatles fishing from their window. :)

Room Tip: You have a choice of the City View side or the Water view side. Either side is spectacular. We chose...

It's such a pleasure to have welcomed you and to have showcased the may offerings of our site and region. As you addressed, there's a world of Seattle to explore outside our door, and the team loves the chance to help you navigate it with ease. Please be sure to reach out again the next time you're in the area; we'd love the chance to showcase even more of our site and city!

Our travel agent, Trailfinders, suggested this hotel and we had a great stay here. Loved the lodge feel and outlook from the restaurant, bar and lounge which is difficult to beat. Close proximity to the Victoria Clipper arrival hall was great, as was the shuttle service to downtown locations which runs on the hour.

Breakfasts in the Six Seven restaurant were very good. Only criticism would be sound proofing between rooms.. We had a city side room and had expected it to be noisy with the train so close, but we didn't experience external noises, just internal.

This was a very fine hotel with a large and comfortable room with a splendid water view which we decided to upgrade to. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful from the desk staff to the the wait staff in the excellent bar. Would recommend the Edgewater to any friends travelling to Seattle. unfortunately the Beatles suite was occupied so we couldn't get a look at this "iconic" hotel room.

Room Tip: Choose a water view

I was disappointed with the stay at the edgewater. The walls/flooring is so thin- all night long we heard people walking, using their shower, bathroom- I would have thought paying as much as they charge for the night this would not be the issue. Also, the double beds are ridiculous for again the price. The fireplace/ heating system smelled. The flooring in the bathroom was super cold perhaps a rug would be nice -- Sorry wish I could report better...

We booked two rooms for two nights at the end of May for our family. Two adults and a baby in one room, two adults in the second room. The rooms were ready when we arrived, and the pack and play was set up and made up for the baby, as requested on our reservation. The location was perfect for the cruise we were going to depart on after our two night stay. We chose The Edgewater for several reasons: the location, the proximity to the water, and easy walking access to downtown Seattle. The hotel is an older hotel, but well maintained and cared for. The lobby, sitting areas, restaurant and gift shop are beautifully decorated. The views are outstanding, the staff exceptionally personable and the rooms cozy and comfortable. We stayed Friday and Saturday nights, had excellent access to the city and tourist sights, and the bellman took all of our luggage to the cruise terminal for us at the end of our stay. I would highly recommend The Edgewater, and we look forward to staying there again. Warm, relaxing accommodations with exceptional service. Loved the rooms on the water side of the hotel.

Room Tip: Although the rooms with a waterfront view are more expensive, they were worth every penny to those o...

Incredibly friendly staff and amazing views led to a great vacation. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great on the water experience. They even let us stay an extra day when our flight was cancelled. I'd definitely recommend the edgewater to anyone.

I stayed here for a couple days while attending a conference nearby. In sum: bang for the buck. Stellar view of the sound. You're right on the water! The service was prompt and friendly. Very clean room. Had a great time.
