We spent 2 nights at the Edgewater Hotel. We had booked a basic City view room and asked if there was any upgrades available. We were given a large City view room with a balcony with a stunning bathroom. Even though it was a city view and previous reviews have complained about the train noise we had no problems at all. If you keep the balcony door shut and the air conditioning on low there is virtually no train noise even though there were plenty of trains going by. The exterior of the Hotel doesn't do it justice as the interior is very rustic but modern. The service, food and views were excellent and it was in easy walking distance of all attractions. I would definitely recommend this Hotel

The Edgewater is our favoirte hotel in downtown Seattle, so I was a little disappointed by this stay. When arriving at the airport from the East Coast, I called to see if we could check-in 2 hours early. After some concern since they couldn't find our reservation right away, I was told the room wasn't ready and they took my cell phone to call me when it was - I never got a call. Our latest visit was with the family and since we had 5 in our party, we had to choose the CIty View Family Suite - our view included the Space Needle! They offered ear plugs because of the train that goes right by at all hours, but we were too jet lagged to notice the noise. I was under the impression that the Family Suite had a pull-out sofa, but it didn't and required a roll-away bed to be delivered. I think the roll-away was probably more comfortable than a sleeper sofa, but it did take up quite a bit of room. The hotel offers a shuttle every hour to anywhere w/in a mile or two, so it was nice that we didn't have to walk up the hill to get to Pike Place Market, and a short, scenic walk back. The room was very clean and the facility has great charm. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant and the food and service were very good. We left something in the room and called the hotel to hold it for us until we came back into town a few days later. The item was not found, but the housekeeping staff did try to find it after more than one call, luckily if was not of significant value. I would definitely give them another chance with a smaller group.

We're so glad to have welcomed you and your family, Chris, and we appreciate your time in extending us this feedback. We're sorry that we could not provide you with an early check-in this time around, though we're always happy to hold your luggage until the room is finalized. In these instances, it's a pleasure to be able to offer you our shuttle service, along with our expert insights of the area to pass the time, or you might simply enjoy our Six Seven Restaurant and relaxing waterfront views. We're thrilled that you enjoyed the experience at large, and we hope that you'll reach out again soon; the team would love to set the stage for your next memorable Seattle experience!

We had our children with us on this Seattle trip so picking a convenient hotel was important to us. We chose Edgewater again as it is right next door to the Pier to catch the Victoria Clipper for our day trip to see Butchart Gardens. We had a city view room with 2 double beds; room was clean and comfy and we did have a view of the Space Needle (kids loved it). The trains are a little annoying, but I already knew what to expect and didn't bother upgrading since we were only in the hotel to sleep. How does this hotel not have the NBC channel? We stayed during Stanley Cup Finals and had to watch it on our ipad - thank goodness for free wifi. Stay was great and we love the scenery from their lobby.

Room Tip: Upgrade the room to a partial water view or full view to avoid train noise.

A fine hotel with a great location, walking distance to many attractions, Pike market, downtown shopping, and all the pier attrications, The Seattle Aquarium is fun. Must rooms are over the water with great views. Nice little bar with live entertainment. I only stayed for 2 days but will visit again on my next stay.

The hotel is very clean and is a good pick. The Edgewater hotel is in a good location (within a short walking distance to the Space Needle and Pike's Market). All the times I've been to Seattle I've never stayed so close to the water. I'm glad my husband picked this hotel. Although we didn't get an ocean view room, our room had a balcony and a good view of the Space Needle. The hotel room had a really nice bathroom! Edgewater has a small gym and a nice restaurant and bar/lounge. The hotel is also close to a nice running trail that runs along the water. Overall, its a great choice.

An enjoyable, relaxing stay with friendly staff and artistic rooms. I really enjoyed the bar area with seating on the ocean side with Groove Lounge music played through the audio system. We went with the city view and there was ample Freight, passenger and commuter traffic which is great if you are a train enthusiast! The location was a short walk to Pike Market Place and Dimitriou's Jazz Alley.

Room Tip: I will be returning to this hotel and location soon.
