We were greeted friendly at check-in. Once they learned that we were on our honeymoon, they offered us a free upgrade on our room and the suite was fantastic and very spacious. It had a separate living room and an alcove where you could brew fresh and original Italian coffee. The bed was huge, exactly how I like it: lots of pillows and very comfortable.

It is situated a little further up the hill. Within a ten-minute walk however, one is directly at the Waterfront where all the restaurants and bars are.

from the complimentary wine at the bar, lush bed, excellent restaurant, complimentary town car, NY TImes and WSJ, umbrellas for the rain -- it was all perfect. I selected the hotel because it was across the street from the Virginia Mason Hospital. But it was a great choide by all accounts and I would stay there again on my next visit.

The Sorrento Hotel is one of those rare gems of a hotel that offers a wonderful blend
of great old school elegance and charm with modern amenities. It's large enough
to provide full four star hotel service experience with a unique personal touch that few large
hotels in Seattle and for that matter most large America Cities can match. The staff was excellent and friendly. From the front desk to the dining room and bar and housekeeping staff, everyone
worked to ensure that our experience was outstanding.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely. The suites are well worth the incremental investment

Check in was friendly. Our suite was delightful. The comfort of the beds was incredible. Staff couldn't have been more attentive. The food in the bar and restaurant was excellent. We loved the appetizers in the bar especially. Our new favorite hotel.

We have stayed at the Sorrento around 10 times in the last 5 years. Spacious suites are reasonably priced which is perfect for our family of four (2 smaller children). Although we only stayed one night for this trip and did not utilize any of the other services, we have previously enjoyed meals at the Hunt club and through room service. The valet/concierge service is excellent, as is the service at check-in/out. Housekeeping is efficient and timely and has accommodated some of the unique situations that occur when travelling with little children. The hotel is well-situated in Seattle, and there is a hotel vehicle available to transport guests to locations within a couple miles of the hotel.

The only downsides that we have noticed are that there is no swimming pool, only one (small) elevator, and a fair amount of street noise. Nevertheless, we already have reservations to return twice in the next 4 months.

Spent five days for business. Conveniently located for my purposes. Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. The gym is above hotel average. Staff friendly.
If your business takes you to Seattle and this location is convenient for you this place can be recommended. I didnt eat at the hotel.

We loved this hotel but it was pricey. But, for a 30th anniverary trip, the corner suite really fit the occaision and was worth it. Such a fabulous room, we wanted to move in for good! Super clean room with fantastic furnishings and appointments, great service, friendly and helpful people, great fitness center. Location is OK, way up the hill from the waterfront and no view. Only ate in the restaurant for Sunday brunch and it was quite forgettable. Go across the street to the Corner Cafe instead.
Probably the worst part of our 3 night stay was the $39/night parking fee, so be prepared!

Room Tip: Splurge on the corner suite, it was fantastic!
