“Great - Central - Convenient Location”
Reviewed 10 December 2013

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend on the 40th floor and I have nothing bad to say about this place or location. Excellent location, the malls and restaurants are literally a block away. Pike place market was just a few walkable blocks away as well. The rooms were super clean and spacious, the staff was really helpful and friendly.

I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel whenever visiting Seattle Downtown.

Room Tip: There is a floor "13" so if you prefer not to stay on that level then be sure to add in yo...

Special couple getaway~ a room on 21st floor with an amazing bed! I am accustomed to not sleeping soundly in new spots. Not true here. Reasons i didn't go five star: pool so so and not easy to access from south tower, maid knocked at 7 pm (?) , and walls not very sound proof.

Thank you for your review. We are delighted you slept soundly in our Heavenly Bed! The pool can be accessed through the mezzanine and lobby levels to the North Tower, and we apologize it is not as convenient as if your room was in that tower. The room attendant may have inadvertently knocked on the wrong door as he or she was providing turndown service, and again our apologies for the interruption. We hope you will allow us another opportunity to provide accommodations on your next visit to Seattle.

Happy holidays!

We had a great room overlooking the sound on the 38th floor. As the fog rolled in it was like we were above the clouds. The hotel is centrally located so you can walk everywhere. I would recommend this hotel. We had free wi-fi being a SPG member, so that was ok, since paying for wi-fi sucks.

We stayed for the Seattle Marathon. We had a very nice room with a great view of Puget Sound and the Space Needle. The room was clean, although the top of the toilet was a little dirty. The hotel seemed to use a lot of technology, for instance the room service menu was on the TV which was hard to find and even harder to follow as the pages moved too quickly. Room service was also expensive, but on a par with other similar hotels. The wi-fi was good and free I think because we are SPG members. The staff was helpful and my son enjoyed the swimming pool. Fantastic location, almost next door to Nordstrom. My only caveat would be to say that two double beds are not big enough for four people. Apart from that a lovely stay!

Room Tip: High floor with a water view.

Green Features: Two trash cans in the room, one for recyclables and one for trash. The shower looked environmentally friendly.

I guess when I pay top dollar for a great hotel with an awesome view, spacious room and convenient location I am amazed to get nickel and dimed on wifi! Really? Every box motel off the interstate has free wifi. I would rather have internet connection and pay to use the monster tv in the room. Everything else was great.

Thank you for your review. The bandwidth necessary to keep up with the demand of high speed Internet continues to increase as more and more people use it for long periods of time to stream video, audio, play online games, download large files and use it to Skype/FaceTime. Families are traveling with multiple devices and accessing the web at the same time. For reference, we do post our rates on our website westinseattle.com. Thank you again and we hope to see you again.

I stayed at the Westin in downtown Seattle last week while in town on a business trip. The hotel is in a a great location within walking distance to a lot of the sites in downtown. The hotel room on the tenth floor was great although I had a view of the roof so not much to look at. Room service was pretty good, although unreasonable priced (Burger, Ice Cream, Soda for $50), even for room service. The food downstairs at RUSH was really good, especially the buffet at breakfast. I loved the crepes and bacon. I definitely plan to come back during my next trip to Seattle. P.S. Park in the parking lot next door to the hotel. It has a sky walk over to the hotel and will save you $15.00 a night.

Room Tip: The hotel is circular so the rooms have a curve. Definitely get a high floor for a better chance at...

We spent the weekend with our son & granddaughters at the Westin downtown Seattle and it was terrific. We had deluxe rooms on the 33rd floor with floor to ceiling windows and views of the water and the city. The beds and pillows are "yummy" and the rooms very nice. All the staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was good. Being right downtown we were able to walk to the waterfront, the Great Wheel, take the monorail to the Space Needle and just feel a part of this beautiful city (it wasn't raining). We only live an hour from Seattle but it was really fun to meet our kids for a weekend in the city and do all the tourist activities.

Room Tip: rooms on the upper floors have better views and are more expensive. There are views of the city or L...
