I live a shortish distance from Seattle, but when going to a show at the Key we always stay here. The beds are comfy and the breakfast is standard hotel fair but filling.
Only detractor (as with the last stay) is the 7 am construction on the property adjacent, so close the window ay night or prepare to wake up.
We stayed here because it was near everything we visited and our bus to Vancouver. Although the inn showed it age, service more than made up for it. The staff was on top of all our needs. We wanted to take a bus to Pikes Market and they printed out directions with step by step instructions. Breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold food.
Very poor accommodations for the $185/night. Opening the window shades, I was staring directly on the dumpster downstairs. Made me want to vomit. Considering the desk clerk told me the room was an upgrade from my previously reserved room. I was told I arrived late so they gave out my reserved room. My question is why did they did that since I will be penalized if I did not arrived anyway. The shower changes from warm to cold whenever somebody else uses their bathroom when I was showering. Almost got scalded because I tried to make the shower warmer when suddenly it became very hot.
When I complained to the desk about the accommodation all they said is "I AM SORRY".
