We got a stinky small room took an hour to get a better one - staff is unfriendly - they could not get us one more night (after we change to a better room) so we Moved to the Sheraton across the street and paid less...

We are very disappointed to read your comments about our staff and hotel. Your sentiments are not common of our guests and we apologize for anything short of an excellent hotel experience. We hope you'll give us the opportunity to show you a much more typical and enjoyable stay during your next trip to Seattle.

This hotel is a perfect place to stay for a weekend in Seattle. There are restaurants and shopping right in the neighborhood and it's an easy walk to Pikes Market. We even walked to the stadium to see a Mariners game. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are lovely and clean, and there is a continental breakfast each morning. Plus, we were happy with the reasonable price. I will recommend the Roosevelt Hotel to anyone I know visiting Seattle. Also, it's very close to the Convention Center for business travelers.

Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, the service, cleanliness and price were fantastic for a four star hotel. In fact, I'd give it all five stars!! They even had a complete continental breakfast. Without a doubt we would return to The Roosevelt on our next trip!

We stayed at the Roosevelt at the end of April and had a wonderful time. We were in Seattle for our honeymoon and when the staff found out we were upgraded to a room on the 20th floor, given a small box of chocolates and were treated very kindly! A special "tip of the hat" must go to Lucy at the front desk who was especially friendly and helpful.
There is a complimentary continental breakfast every morning. The hotel is nicely located and an easy walk to most attractions. The room was very nice with a small fridge and a great view! Thanks to everyone at the Roosevelt Hotel!

Tip for travelers: If walking to the waterfront I would use Pike Street instead of Pine Street, especially later at night. The corner of 3rd and Pine Street is a bit rough.

I loved The Roosevelt hotel! It was extremely convenient, comfortable and clean for an older hotel. We arrived prior to our room being available, however, we did not have to sacrifice a minute of our quick vacation. The hotel staff quickly tagged our bags and stored them away for safety allow us to immediately begin our exploration of Seattle. I would definitely recommend this hotel!! Fabulous location if you are a shopper :-) The hotel is right across the street from a mall and a block away from Macy's, Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. The only negative was that the restuarant was not open and we couldn't order room service during our stay.

It's an older hotel but still very nice. The room was a little small but nice. The beds were very comfortable and had some of the nicest pillows. The only gripe is that there wasn't a mini fridge and microwave.

I loved The Roosevelt! Very comfortable and clean. I got a discounted rate, credit card rewards, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the smaller room.
The staff was very friendly... the location was centrally located.
Will stay again when we come to Seattle!
