“Go early, but go often”
Reviewed 24 October 2011

I go to Pike Place every time I am in Seattle. If you go on Saturday, go when they open. Within a couple hours it will be wall to wall people. Buy some nibbler food at several locations and just eat your way around the market, taking pictures of all the beautiful flowers, fruits and veggies.

Grab a map at the main entrance. Wander through DeLaurenti's lovely grocery. Get some coffee at the original Starbucks. Have some cheese bites at Beekers. Don't forget some chowder at Pike Place Chowder. Pick up more spices and teas than you can imagine at Spice Market. Then wander through all the stalls of handmade goods upstairs. Downstairs you will find all kinds of funky shops too.

“Well...”

I went and took a look. Kinda interesting for the purpose of photo shooting, but not big deal really. At least not to me.

“Great market, lots to see.”
Reviewed 23 October 2011

This is where we spent much of our time during a 2-day visit. There is a lot to see, and if you love food, it is a must-see destination. The only downside is that it was often quite crowded.
