Larger than what I expected. Lots of diifferent types of stalls, colourful & vibrant. The first fish shop at the front calling out each order is really entertaining and fun. I'm always dropping in for food.

Ive been to Pike Place fish market over 2 dozen times but I realized I've never taken my 11 year old daughter, she absolutely loved it! We saw the flying fish and usual tourist attractions as well as had breakfast in the market. Went Lowells where they filmed a scene from Sleepless in Seattle both the food and the view was awesome and I would recommend it to anyone. Lots to see and lots to do for all ages.
Heres a tip: On day 2 go to one of the smaller restaurants in Pikes and have breakfast the cost is about 1/3 and the food is just as good if not better. We had Piroschkys and Starbucks coffee and it was perfect.

Spent a few hours here one morning during my recent visit. Saw the fish guys throwing fish...no one was buying so they weren't too happy that everyone was just standing around taking pictures. Enjoyed seeing all the items available at the various vendors, especially the flowers. Be sure to make a donation and take a pic with Rachel the pig.

Got to see the fish toss at Pike Place Fish Market!! Thanks guys!!! Have been looking forward to that since going through customer service training and learning all about knock your socks off service. You didn't disappoint me! Everything else was also just wonderful. All the fresh cut flowers, arts and crafts, fresh spices, etc. This is a definite must see in Seattle!

Nice market. Open air and indoors. I liked all the different nationalities I saw. Good place to hang out and people watch as well as get fresh fish, flowers, and baked goods. It is also the home of the original Starbucks!
