The Hall is a lovely place for a concert or a lecture. We attend the National Geographic lecture series every year, and really enjoy atmosphere. The acoustics are good, and the seats are easy to see from, even from the top tiers. There are several restaurants outside the auditorium where you can eat before performances if you wish.

Benaroya is in a great location downtown. The Mozart program at Seattle Symphony was perhaps the best performance we've seen in a long while ... We love the SanFran Symphony and Silicon Valley Symphony but wow ... Seattle rocks. We loved it so much we tried to get ticket for Chamber Music the next day ... but it was sold out because the Mozart program was so amazing.

Benaroya Hall has got great sound and is a wonderful place to watch performances of any kind. Unfortunately it's starting to show its age in other areas for example, the seating. As much as you pay for tickets to go to, its not a very comfortable place to sit for any length of time. The seats are worn and the padding is in desperate need of replacement!

Recently we attended a performance by the Seattle Symphony. We have attended a variety of events and performances at Benaroya and have never been disappointed regardless of our seating location. In addition, there are plenty of restsurants and bars in the area for before and after events.

We really love Benaroya. There is ample parking below the hall, very passable restaurants (both casual style at Wolfgang Puck's cafe, and more formal at Taste restaurant) and a nice gift shop. Oh, and you can get coffee and brownies, or a glass of wine or beer for pre-concert or intermission. But the best part is the hall itself, which has marvelous acoustics, a classic but modern design, and comfortable seating with excellent view angles. And, of course, our symphony, which is now at top-class level.
