this is not the place to stay if you have a car or family. there is a dog park and bus stop right outside the rooms on one side of the building and it is very hot in the room.
there is no breakfast or pool
loud, hot and no parking; stressful

Room Tip: keep the car home and ask for a room away from the dog park, bus and road in general

Decided to stay in town for the 4th July and Belltown Inn had a decent rate. Rooms are small and clean, but fairly noisy. Kept hearing some mechanical sound, like a garage door opening, at night and early AM.

No AC, beds so-so, free Internet. Basically it is the price and location that make this a worthwhile place to stay, otherwise would look elsewhere.

We stayed here for five nights and found it very convenient and pleasant. Easy walking to downtown and Pike Market with lots to do in Belltown itself. The staff were generally friendly though one got a little difficult when I asked for change for a 100 dollar bill. It might be policy not to change big bills but a polite "no" would done. But otherwise fine and helpful. Laundry facilities on site and good transit connections. Would definitely recommend as alternative to expensive downtown hotels.

This location is within easy walking distance of many of the local attractions.Be it the Space Needle or Pike Place market or many local restaurants, this is a great spot.We were staying there for 2 nights before boarding a cruise to Alaska and returned there for 1 night on our return. The staff was very friendly and helpful in regards to our questions. We had a corner room with 2 queen beds. The windows were open for air flow as the room did not have AC. It was a little noisy at night with road traffic and noise from people. The building is across the street from a dog park which could be noisy at times. The room included a microwave and refrigerator with a sink on the counter. Nice TV and desk included. Bathroom was small but quaint.Free bikes were offered too.Overall, a nice hotel and very convienent to local attractions.

Room Tip: Try to avid being to close to lower floors because of noise.

The best thing about the Belltown Inn is that it's walking distance to almost anything! Pike Place and the waterfront are less than a 10 minute walk. they even have free bikes for you to rent! There's a lot going on around the inn as well, be it coffeeshops, little restaurants and bars.

I was in a double queen room and it was spacious with a microwave and mini fridge as well. Everything worked fine, no complaints there. There isnt free wifi, but you can use their business centre for free. The front desk staff are great to talk to talk to and very helpful!

I would definitely stay here again, this place is definitely worth more than the rates they charge!

My husband and I stayed at the Belltown Inn for 2 nights in June 2013. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30am and they were happy to give us a room. That was very kind of the staff and a relief after a long morning of travel. We were given a room with a courtyard 'view'. Although there's not much of a view, it allowed for open windows and quiet nights of sleep. The room wasn't very up-to-date, but everything was clean and in perfect working order. For me, location and value trump an up-to-date room. The front desk staff was very friendly and were helpful in explaining directions and providing recommendations when we asked. The hotel even has bicycles that you can borrow free of charge and umbrellas if you need them. My husband and I walked to all the attractions- Space Needle, Pike Place Market, pier(s), water front- and felt the distance was just right. One small complaint: the room didn't have an AC unit and was a bit stuffy. Once we opened the windows, turned on the fans, and let it cool down in the evening, it was comfortable for sleep.

Room Tip: Courtyard rooms are quieter for sleeping
