Loved the Belltown. Great staff. Fabulous service. Not impersonal. Central location. More than adequate rooms. Very comfortable. Good aesthetics. Great funky furniture. Wifi room. Small lobby if that matters. Good value. It will be my place to stay in Seattle. (Hi to all the staff).

I would definitely stay here again when in Seattle.

The location, as everyone has pointed out, is good (avoid walking down 3rd Ave). The staff were pleasant and helpful and I was able to access my room way before the official check-in time. Although my room did not face the courtyard, it was quiet enough. I could however, hear the person next door snoring so I can see how this might be a problem if you have noisy neighbors.

There were also some definitely funky and unpleasant smells one evening. It's a smoke-free hotel so that wasn't the smell - it smelled more like bad food - but was overall a mystery smell. The hotel rents rooms out long-term so it might have been that or something coming from outside.

My hair dryer didn't work but I didn't bother to ask for another.

Overall, the room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable enough. I really appreciated having the kitchen area complete with 2 free sodas, water, coffee and popcorn; and I like that I could have borrowed a bicycle. The shower was good.

What makes this hotel special, along with the location, is that the price is really good for downtown Seattle. And for a good price, you get the little extras like the free drinks and the kitchen area. You can also access a rooftop area which is a nice touch.

Other people have complained about the parking, but that's not the hotel's fault. You don't need a car to enjoy Seattle. I'm very happy I discovered Belltown Inn and I will be back.

Stayed the weekend and had a lovely time. The place is a real bargain. Short walk to Downtown, Pikes Market or the Space Needle. Lot's of good places to eat within a few blocks.

They have limited offsite parking, but you don't need it. The staff will tell you how to work the four hour meters in the neighborhood. They'll help you with anything else you need, too.

Comfortable, nicely decorated rooms. Ask for an interior room, facing the courtyyard. It eliminates any street noise.

We will very happily return!

Room Tip: Ask for an interior room.

Stayed here for one night in April. When making the reservation, I was told they had valet parking for $16 a night. This was a blatant lie and we had to lug our luggage from a pay lot down the block. They charge for rollaway beds and when I went to the front desk around 11pm to request another blanket, the refused to give me one the first time. I ended up calling again, and they told me there was no one to deliver a spare blanket or towels.

The room was clean, but average. We were kept awake all night by loud banging and people screaming outsidem. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Stayed here during ECCC weekend and it was a great stay. The staff is very kind, understanding, and accommodating. Brian, the general manager, is a respectable man who gives Excellent customer service and is a wonderful person. Very comfortable stay and they took into account particular guest requests. Walking distance to the convention center, pike place market, the space needle, great restaurants, and the downtown Seattle area. Overall great experience and would highly recommend.

Added conveniences: they have free bike rentals and umbrellas to use in rainy Seattle; complimentary soda and popcorn; iron and hair blow dryer in the room

I loved this place, it was quiet, well-kitted out and the staff were uber-friendly and helpful. I stayed here for 6 nights, and it was excellent. Large rooms, comfortable beds, good-size bathroom. It was clean, the room had a big desk, there a GREAT shower in the en-suite, and even a microwave and dishes in a small kitchenette. It also has the perfect location, close to 2nd Avenue with its cool cafes, bars and restaurants and close enough to the city centre to walk everywhere (but the monorail is closeby as well if you need that). The harbour is just there as well, down a steep hill.

Room Tip: Around the courtyard: very quiet rooms
