I love Pan Pacific and Hotel 1000, but their prices went up so high. So I decided to give this hotel a try. I loved the Costal Vancouver hotel - very environmentally focused (there is a compost bucket in the room!), new great clean rooms, and friendly staff - and this is one of the Costal hotels.
Although the room was small and there was no view, the room was very clearn and comfortable. There was a marble bathroom with bath robes, and the bed was nice and supportive. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location is right in the middle of the town. If you want to rent a car, the Budget (I think) is right there and you can return the car after hour.

Only thing that I want to add is that there was no compost bucket in the room. As the city offer so many fresh produces, it eally would have been great that they have the compost bucket like its Vancouver hotel. Maybe the US regulation would not allow it?

Stayed here for 3 nights. We shared a room with our 2 teenaged daughters. The staff were friendly and efficient, beds very comfortable, and the hotel was surprisingly quiet considering the downtown location. It's right on Pine Street,so it's an easy walk to all the major shops, the monorail, and Pike Place market. The restaurant downstairs had good Asian food and reasonable prices. We were in a standard room with 2 queen beds. The room was not huge, but did have a full bathtub plus shower, and was very clean and nicely decorated.

We recently stayed at The Paramount Hotel in Seattle, WA (Aug 2012) and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We had a party of seven with four adults and three children ages 9-13, so we had two rooms with 2 queen beds in each. We all found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and very well-appointed. It had nice modern decor and although the rooms were a bit small, the layout was well designed in that the tub and toilet areas were separate from the sink areas so someone could use the mirror while another was showering or using the facilities. This was very convenient since we were traveling with adolescents. It also is equipped with extra outlets on top of the bedside tables for charging phones, etc., which was nice since we all had electronic devices. Our only complaint was the temperatures in the elevators and hallways were way too warm, but we were able to control the temps in the rooms, so it was a minor thing since we spent so little time in the hallways.

We also loved the Dragonfish Cafe, located in the hotel. We had breakfast there not once, but twice, because we enjoyed it so much the first time. We had the same server each time and were quite surprised that she was able to remember our orders the second morning, including drinks and special requests, because there were seven of us! Very impressive! The service was great, the food was fabulous - we highly recommend it.

The hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping areas, the monorail station, and Pike's Market. It has valet parking with a daily rate, so we used the car when we needed to go farther and were very impressed with the valet service. They were extremely fast and very polite. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, central to many Seattle attractions, e.g., Pike's Place Market, Post Alley. Convenient to Westlake station (bus) and the monorail. The room was clean and the king-sized bed was comfortable. I especially liked that the windows opened, and that there were numerous outlets to charge phones, e-readers, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Our stay was from August 4-6, 2012. Our room was booked through Hotwire, and did we ever get lucky. This hotel was quiet, spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and the service was flawless. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, on smallish side, and older building so the rooms were very quiet, which we like. Rooms are not big, but very nicely appointed and modern. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast at hotel was very good. Did not try dinner, but it seemed like a great restaurant for Asian cuisine. Loved location to walk to Pikes Place and several malls and every type of shopping. Also convenient to convention center. Simple, nice hotel in great location, no fanciness or lots of employees standing around, but everyone there works hard to make your stay pleasant.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable bed, and spotless room. Step out of the front door and you are right in the middle of down town. A short walk to Pike Market and all the shops you would want. Enjoyed a delicious dinner at a French restaurantg, near Inn at the Market. We stayed only one night before a cruise, and found it very convenient. We had booked this hotel through Expedia and upon checking out the hotel gave us their invoice. If we had booked through the hotel and not Expedia we would have saved $60.00. Food for thought fellow travellers!!

Room Tip: Put on the fan of your air conditioner and you will not hear traffic sounds.
