“Class at a great price”

We loved how close we were to the Paramount Theatre, where we were seeing a show. Also close to shopping. We got the Bed and Breakfast deal, which wrapped in valet parking and breakfast. It made it a good buy for a classy place to stay! Highly recommend, and I will return for sure.

You couldn't ask for more in a hotel. We stayed at the hotel since it was close to the theater, Paramount What a great location. We will stay here again as they allowed us to use their parking until the show was over. Great staff.

We arrived at the Paramount about noon after an early morning flight from the East Coast. We asked the gentleman at the front desk for a quiet room away from the elevators. Although the room (1112) was not made up, he offered to call on my cell when it was ready. Within the hour we had our call! The concierge was friendly and helpful. We were at the hotel Dec. 24 and 25 before moving to a vacation rental to be with family members who were all attending my niece's wedding. Our flight home was a red-eye on new year's eve. The concierge remembered us from our earlier stay and held our luggage for the day. It was perfect!

The central location made it easy to walk all over central Seattle. It's only 2 blocks from the light rail connection from the airport (a convenient, 30 minute ride for $2.75 and no traffic!), the shopping area. Pike Place Market is a few blocks.

We only had drinks and bar menu in the restaurant - but the happy hour specials could be dinner!

This hotel is part of the Coast Hotel chain. We have stayed several times. Our 8th flr room looks like it has been renovated, modern yet very comfortable. The beds are cosy. Room furniture is great to relax in. The hotel lobby is intimate, offering morning coffee and afternoon flavoured water to refresh. Staff are helpful and cheerful.

Located on Pike St, it is only blocks away from Seattle's best shopping centres and stores: Barney's', Eileen Fisher, Nordstrom's, Macy's, Westlake Centre and Pacific Place. Walk down to Pike Market and take in even more stores.

This hotel offers a great location at a reasonable price.

We stayed at the Paramount over the Christmas weekend.
Pros:
The location of this hotel is perfect, it is about one block away from Pacific Place and two blocks from Westlake Mall. Pike Place Market is a quick 5 minute walk away.
Cons:
This hotel does not offer self-parking, only valet parking is available. Our first experience with the valet was not pleasant. The first time we needed our vehicle, we called ahead from our room but still waited 20 minutes! This completely negates the purpose of valet. We would have much rather have been able to self park and access our vehicle ourselves. Conversely, we had some very pleasant and quick valet staff as well. But we typically found the valet service took much longer than we would hope.
One night, it was late and we had not had dinner so we called room service to see if they would be able to accommodate a vegan meal for us, as we are vegan. Unfortunately, they were not very accommodating and could not do much for us. This was a little disappointing as we generally never have a problem with the chef being creative and coming up with something for us even off the menu.
We were checking out on Christmas day and didn't think we would have time to go out for breakfast so we decided to order room service however, when I called the front desk she indicated room service was not available on Christmas day! I can understand that they would have limited services on Christmas day but I think this needs to be communicated to their guests beforehand. Reception indicated they had sent notices to guests the night before, we didn't get one. I think it is important for the hotel to communicate this crucial info to their guests at the point of booking, not the night before. One the plus side, they did remove one night of parking off our bill for this inconvinience.
Overall, I would classify this as an average hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to thoroughly review your stay with us. I wholeheartedly apologize for the issues you encountered while staying with us. It is always our intention to make our guests' feel as if they're staying at their home away from home. I apologize that we failed to meet your expectations on this visit.

I do appreciate your feedback about our valet service, and will be sharing your comments with our team to see how we can improve going forward. Thank you also for bringing the vegan meal options and room service issue to our attention, as this is something else I will be sharing with our entire team.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Paramount Hotel in Seattle recently, and enjoyed it thoroughly. It is very centrally located: only one block from Nordstrom, two from the Westlake Mall, and three from Macy's, in the very center of the city. Thus there is usually no need for a car to access the main attractions of the downtown. We took advantage of the Hotel's partnership with the Seattle Art Museum and combined our stay with tickets to the King Tut exhibit. We had a sixth floor, corner room with a pleasant view west over a small park. The regular rooms are a bit small, but nicely equipped with the standard amenities one expects for this quality of lodging: a king-sized bed (in our case), HD TV with cable, writing desk with stationary, free Wi-Fi, small safe, clothing bureau and closet, large and comfortable chair with a reading lamp, a controllable thermostat, luxurious linens and personal articles in a sink area separated from a bathroom with shower and tub, and the room decorated in a restrained, contemporary style. The curtains could be closed so that little daylight entered, in case one wanted to sleep in. There is valet parking under the hotel and also a parking lot across the street. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is an on-site pan-Asian restaurant that is open most of the day and evening, though we ate elsewhere. After my wife inadvertently informed the front desk that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, we returned to our room one evening and, to our surprise, discovered a bottle of decent champagne and some salted-caramel chocolates. In sum: a fine place to stay in the heart of the city.

Room Tip: It helps to have a room higher up in order to avoid street noise.

Stayed here for a weekend get away in early December. We wanted something downtown and close to the shopping and Quest field. You can't beat the location and the hotel staff are friendly. Good value for the location. Hotel is clean and modern. I'm a fan of the Paramount chain and this one lived up to my expectations.
