I booked this hotel for a business stay, after the conference hotel filled up. And I have to say that everything worked out beautifully. The hotel is perfectly located. I walked around the block to my conference hotel, but also to Nordstrom's (and Nordstrom's Rack!). It's a short, enjoyable walk down the hill to the waterfront and Pike's Place Market. It's also walking distance to the Capitol Hill neighborhood. (Remember that Cameron Crowe movie from the early 1990s, Singles?) I also walked with no problem to the Experience Music Project and the Space Needle. (And O.K., O.K...I do like to walk when I visit a city.)
The hotel itself is also wonderful. I had a great room, it was quiet, nicely kept and clean. And I had no trouble sleeping.
Finally, from 3-6 p.m. and 10 p.m.-1 a.m., it's "Happy Hour" in their restaurant, the Dragonfish Asian Cafe. Great rolls and sake, and other stuff, at happy hour prices. I typically never eat in hotel restaurants. However, on this four-day trip, I made an exception. Twice.
