This is a great place to stay if you want to be downtown. It's within walking distance of the public market, Seattle Center, Century Link field, and much more. We stayed here for the Rock n Roll Seattle marathon. Got a good price at $175. Tom the concierge was quite helpful. He approached us with pamphlets and updated maps and gave us ideas on what to see and do with our short time there. Rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. There is Umbria coffee in the room which is really good. I would definitely stay here again!

We were pleasantly surprised and the guest services were very welcoming. Please see the pros and cons.

Pros
- very close to all the attractions and smack in downtown but not in the middle. I like it. Near the shops, two blocks away as opposed to next to it.
- easy to get on the tube to go to the Space Needle
- guest services were nice and made us feel at home
- the room was spacious and nice bedding
- yummy and decent Sushi resteraunt on site, we didn't have to go far for dinner
- 10 mins walk to pikes place, good for Breakfast and or cafe, not a lot of diner near the hotel
- for the price and location, thought it was nice. We like smaller places as opposed to the bigger establishments.
- across the street from the paramount theater

Cons
- not well insulated from hall noise, so you can hear people talking
- not that many tissue boxes, had to go in the bathroom to do so
- there is a little park nearby and you see unwanted guests but they didnt bother us
- minor construction across the street but didn't bother us

I'm happy to hear that our guest services won you over and that you enjoyed your stay with us. You are correct that we have a great location to take the Monorail to the Space Needle, walk to Pike Market or to Pacific Place shopping just a block away. Thank you!

The hotel was conveniently situated within walking distance of downtown attractions, staff friendly and helpful, but the room itself was a bit disappointing. Nothing wrong with the room, just a situation where the price-tag and quality of the room and amenities did not synchronize very well. I've enjoyed far better quality for far less price in other cities. Realize that Seattle isn't know to be budget friendly, but still a bit disappointing. The city of Seattle itself, beautiful, but I think next visit will be more advanced planning to allow more options for lodging, I think for the price range of the Paramount, one could find better quality.

We are sorry to hear our hotel did not meet your price expectations coming from Indiana. Rates vary seasonally in Seattle and July is high season. Many guests book with us because of our location 1 block from the Convention Center and 5 blocks from Pike Market.

Nice hotel, in a good location (next door to 8 Olive). was upgraded to a corner suite (guess they ran out of the standard rooms). great room - very large with big windows. Friendly old concierge that was chatting with everyone but when I asked for a place to have a healthy breakfast, sent me to the wrong place... - there was one 3 blocks down that I guess he wasn't aware of... - isn't that what a hotel concierge suppose to know...?

Room Tip: Was upgraded to a corner suit - large room, with big windows, though a bit noisy... Wonder if the ot...

Managed to get a great deal on booking.com after a booking fiasco with The Edgewater. So glad that happened, as we loved The Paramount. Great location five blocks from market and close to good shopping, Well decorated public areas and guest rooms. Friendly front desk staff. The bathroom layout was excellent...shower and toilet in one room, sink outside of that door so two people can get ready concurrently. Even the wall mirror in the room had a light and shelf so one could get ready/put on make up there. Had the amenities of a high end hotel -- great towels, bathrobes, nice sheets. Will certainly stay again!

Stayed here for the Fourth of July and the experience was pleasant. After coming back from a hotel who downgraded us when selling out of the room we reserved, Paramount gave us a free upgrade to the top floor city view room. The room itself was big and spacious and the view was really nice. The bed was comfortable and its we ended up watching the fireworks (on TV, because it was late and is started to get cold).

Location of this hotel is very nice and is very close to the downtown area that tourists will be interested in. We were able to walk to Pikes for dinner and come back within an hour.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They were giving people informative maps on Seattle and marking points of interest.

Great wifi
Professional staff who truly seem to want to help guests
Just a short walk to Pike Place Market and the piers
Very clean rooms with nice smelling bath products (BeeKind)
Fluffy, good quality towels
Surprisingly quiet hallways on the guest floors
Relaxing lobby with free beverages and apples
Bar downstairs has a crazy cheap hour that goes late with tasty Asian food and draft beer
Seems funny to note but the hair dryer is the best I have ever used. It's really powerful

We love getting reviews like this to see what is really important when you travel, and wi-fi is at the top of the list. Ours was upgraded earlier this year so I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it. And I will pass your compliments on to the team. We hope you will stay with us again on your next trip to Seattle.
