“Great location to explore Downtown Seattle”
Reviewed 26 July 2014 via mobile

We chose the Paramount for the first few nights of our WA vacation since it was so centrally located for the exploration of the downtown areas. It's just a short two block walk from the Westgate Link Rail station, so we saved on the cost of a rental car and pricey cab ride to the hotel from Sea-Tac.
The rooms, like many older luxury hotels, were smallish but very comfortable. The king size bed took up a lot to the space, but we weren't planning on spending too much time there anyway. The service was excellent, including suggestions for breakfast (Urbane, 1 block north), coffee (Ladro Caffe, across the street) and dinner (Loulay, about 3-4 blocks away). Pikes Market is a short 15 minute walk, but that would depend on how many shops catch you eye on the way to the piers.
All in all we were pleased with the hotel. The Dragonfish Asian Cafe, in the hotel, has a terrific HH menu, but get there early, the place fills up fast with the locals (always a good sign).

Thank you for sharing your recent stay. Your trip notes will help other travelers as those are all awesome restaurant suggestions. Our close connection to the light rail and the airport make for (affordable!) and hassle-free transfers.

The hotel us nicely located and the service was great!
We stayed one night in 811, and then three nights in 1011... Very nice corner room, great view, quiet with windows that open (a little). Bed and pillows were great!

An unprompted free upgrade made our day, but we would have liked this place even without that. The staff were all very pleasant, and the hotel itself was attractive, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed.

Every staff member that we were connected with provided unlimited and caring assistance the night we spent at the Paramount Hotel in Seattle, WA. Our three large suitcases were missing when our plane landed in Seattle. The desk clerk provided us a room upgrade and overnight necessities for both my wife and I as well as another pair of necessities for our cruise the next day. They also suggested nearby stores we could purchase replacement clothing for our trip to Alaska. We couldn't have asked the hotel staff to have been any more accomodating than they were. They were sincerely concerned that our 50th anniversary cruise to Alaska was starting out with no clothing and accessories.

Room Tip: Good location for Space Needle, Market Place, Mall. Corner room is very nice.

Dear Jose, I am so glad to hear that our staff was able to assist you through a really bumpy start to your 50th Anniversary cruise trip. Lost airline luggage can put a damper on anyone's travel plans. We will have to add "Alaskan Outfitters" to our list of service and amenities we provide guests!

The Paramount was a great choice for a fabulous mother/daughter trip. The hotel is beautiful, clean and quiet. It is located in the best area, surrounded by restaurants, shopping, transportation and a short walk to pike place. Although there are homeless in the area, the streets are charming, active, clean and feel very safe anytime of the day. Room 612 was quiet, had a great view and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The staff were very personable, knowledgeable and accommodating. Loved the water or coffee in the lobby. We had a great stay.

Room Tip: We were given the option for early check-in or to wait for a better room. We stored our bags, shoppe...
