We stayed here en route to picking up a cruise. Lovely hotel in great location for visiting nearby attractions. Staff were exceedingly helpful and attached restaurant was both good value and quality. Friends in room 205 had to move due to plumbing noise but no issues. Would stay here anytime.

This was a clean hotel in an excellent location in downtown Seattle. It was within walking distance of the monorail and bus/train, as well as fantastic shopping...Nordstrom was right around the corner. There are a lot of restaurants nearby too, including the Cheesecake Factory. The room was clean, but lacked in any real wow-factor, especially for $340 per night; there was nothing really that stood out to me about this hotel. As another reviewer mentioned, the bathroom towels were scratchy and definitely need to be replaced, especially when this hotel is rated amongst the top in Seattle. The front desk staff were amazingly friendly and definitely a major plus for this hotel. Valet parking is $32 per day - definitely expensive. There are self-serve parking lots across from the hotel at a cheaper rate, but you are never guaranteed a spot and they aren't secured like the parking lot at the Paramount. I would definitely opt for the Valet parking. The onsite restaurant is the Dragonfish Café. We only ate here for breakfast twice and both times, the food was delicious. Would I return to the Paramount when in Seattle? Yes, but I may opt to try another hotel for comparison.

This hotel is a find for Seattle visitors. it is in in the heart of downtown and thus walkable to a variety of restaurants and venues, including theaters, convention center and waterfront ( walking shoes REQUIRED ).
the rooms are extremely comfortable and quiet. Not really a good view from the fifth floor, and had I known I would have explored a higher floor. The Hotel restaurant ( Dragon Sushi) was not my favorite. noisy and somewhat limited for staffing and breakfast choices, but really not an issue as there are options everywhere, The manager of the Hotel was superb. I had a 6 am departure flight at Sea- tac, and he made my return to the airport seamless. Would i sty again ? Absolutely, expensive, but worth it....

Room Tip: Higher than the fifth floor if you want a view

We (two couples from Minnesota) spent two nights at the Paramount in late August.
Our flight got in early, and by the time we got to the hotel, it was hours earlier than the listed check in time. However, our room was ready and we were able to check in and start the Seattle experience easily.
The hotel itself was beautiful and in a great location. We would definitely stay here again and would heartily recommend it to others. What really set the hotel apart for us, though, was the outstanding staff. The desk staff, the bellman, the concierge - all made our visit to Seattle memorable.

Room Tip: I can't imagine a bad room at the Paramount. We faced the street, and it was quiet.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights prior to our flight home after a trip to Washington and Oregon. We were on the 9th floor and although we didn't have a view I had asked for a quiet room therefore we weren't facing the street. Room and bed comfortable. Large bottles of pump dispensing shower gel which I don't use as I always have my own. Location is great - as a previous reviewer mentioned a couple blocks up from Westlake Station and very central for shopping, restaurants. Never ate at the hotel restaurant so can't comment on that but never noticed any smell in the lobby/corridors as mentioned by previous reviewer. Free wifi in room which is great. Coffee available in the lobby in the morning and water thereafter. Very friendly staff. Had stayed at the Sheraton on our arrival at Seattle and on balance would return to the Paramount rather than Sheraton.

hotel is a bit run down, and are missing a good gym. However the location is good, right downtown and the service on the hotel was good, the hotels Resturant was good and can be recommended even if not staying on the hotel.

Perfect choice for us. Upscale clean room, very quiet, clean bathroom, good water pressure. Only two blocks from the train station and the monorail to Seattle Center. Very close to shopping and a lot of good restaurants. The staff was helpful when we asked, but never bothered us. Cleaning staff did a great job and we never saw them! Everything dowtown is expensive, but we thought this was a good value.
