We enjoyed our stay at the Springhill Suites downtown Seattle. Everything was up to "Marriott standard" with comfortable beds, spacious suite, nice flat screen TV and free breakfast. The only drawback was that the hotel is a bit of a distance from the waterfront and Pike's market, so there is some walking to do, unless you are driving. The valet parking fee is $21 for 24hrs at this hotel with in-and-out privileges.
We would certainly stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel over a busy weekend and we were pleasantly surprised and pleased with our experience. At first we were disappointed thinking that our hotel was too far away from the sights we wanted to see and visit. But then we found out that the hotel offers a free shuttle to the locations we needed. Shuttle reservations are made through the front desk staff. Our next discovery was the guest laundry which was greatly appreciated. It is very inexpensive just $1.00 per load for the washer or dryer and that includes the detergent. The room was large and nicely appointed and the wifi worked very well. The kitchen area was small but adequate. We avoided the breakfast buffet after the first morning. The food was plentiful and varied; but it was just too crowded and hectic for our liking. If you are driving to the hotel it is a little tricky to find the entrance because of the one way streets. There is an overnight parking fee of $20.00 plus tax added to your bill at checkout to be aware of if you are working to a budget.

The front desk staff was pleasant, helpful and accommodating when we requested a room change. The suite setup was perfect for us and the location was good, too. We did ask for room on quieter Yale side.
Only complaint is a lack of attention to detailed cleaning-the curtains in our room were dirty when we came in.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend in late April and enjoyed Seattle following most of the tips found in Trip Advisor, we were lucky to enjoy a whole sunny Saturday, i'm told that's not very common in Seattle. The hotel is near two of the must see attractions in the city, Pike Place market and the Space Needle, we walked to the Market and all around downtown at nights from the hotel. The next day we took our car to visit other attractions, but as long as you don´t leave downtown, it's not necessary to use a car. Breakfast is average good, and overall service is great. We had a little water filtration problem in our room and the Hotel Manager personally set us up in another room very quickly.

Room Tip: There´s a tall building to the west side of the hotel pretty much blocking the great view to the spa...

My family and I spent 2 nice days at this hotel in late June. The rooms were pretty large and having a sofa bed was helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast, which includes both hot and cold items, and in great quantities. We parked on the street over night to avoid the $20 overnight parking fee, My wife and daughter used the fitness center across the street that hotel guest can use and enjoyed it. Nice front desk staff and interesting lobby area with a full bar (not typical for Springhill Suites). Although hotel is near I-5 we did not hear the highway traffic at all.

Room Tip: Use AAA discount

I'm a fan of Marriott, and this hotel did not disappoint.
Good breakfast, excellent staff.
Good value for the location as other, similar hotels can be up to twice as much.

Stayed last weekend as we were in Seattle for the Rock n Roll Marathon. Great service- from the front desk, valet and breakfast servers. Rooms are a good size with small living area and fridge/microwave which was great for leftovers and beverages. Rooms are probably in need of a renovation sometime soon (stayed there 6 years ago and nothing has been updated) but they are very clean. Location is fine- walked everywhere including the Mariners game but could be a bit much for some. They have a free shuttle to main shopping area which is handy. Breakfast was quite good with a bit more fare then usual free breakfast. Usually stay at Kimpton or W hotels...but this met our needs for the weekend...would recommend.
