My husband and I stayed here for four nights in December 2010. It was our first time in Seattle and also the first night of our holiday. We were greeted warmly on our arrival and check in was fast and hassle-free. We stayed in a Deluxe King Room. The room was wonderful. There was plenty of space and everything was clean and well-presented. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fine for two adults. Great shower too! The staff were very friendly and always happy to help. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Seattle!

This hotel is very modern. The rooms are spacious with all the amenities and modern furnishings. A lot of thought has been put into the layout of the room (electrical outlets, workstation etc). The fitness center and pool were great, with equipment better than the best sports clubs. I felt the restaurant was a little pricey, even for the area. Location is very good-only a block from shopping and a 10 minute walk to Pike Place Market. Service was excellent-evryone on the staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a great hotel with a modern vibe. The hotel itself is gorgeous with a sleek, uncluttered look. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed with a fantastic bathroom. The lighting in the rooms enhances it quite a bit. I had a corner room with about 30 feet of wrap around windows- the whole hotel has an abundance of windows and natural lighting. The pool/spa is very nice and fosters relaxation. Overall, one of the better hotels I've stayed in and a great place to unwind after traveling

First I want to say this is a great hotel - new, clean and modern. My husband and I stayed there for two nights in August. The room was small but very clean and well kept. We paid a little over $200 per night for a basic room with a king bed. The location was good, but still a good walk (about 8 long blocks) to the pier. This will probably sound really picky, but it might help someone trying to decide if they want to stay here. Although the bathrooms were pretty to look at I did not like them at all. The door was not really a door, it was a sliding partition. It really meant no privacy while using the bathroom. I could even hear my husband brushing his teeth through the door. Everything in the bathroom was in one room (no separate room for toilet). We are married, but really there are some things you just do not want to hear.
Also there was only one sink and no bathtub - I guess because the hotel is green? I know to some people this would not bother them, but I would rather stay somewhere else next time. I still gave the hotel a high rating because I know this is just personal preference.

My family and I stayed in Premier Queen (740 sf) which was almost bigger than a suite room we stayed at Grand Hyatt Seattle! Very clean, convenient location and has a wonderful swimming pool Grand Hyatt doesn't have with steam bath!!! We are definitely going back there soon!!!

Room Tip: Premier Queen is so roomy

Hyatt Olive 8 is located in downtown Seattle, convenient to shopping, restaurants and transportation. Only a block away is a bus transit hub and the Monorail is within a few blocks. The hotel has a sleek, modern feel and is the only hotel in Seattle to be certified a "green" hotel. We had a spacious corner room and the amenities are all one would expect from Hyatt. The large pool is configured for lap swimming but the kids managed to have fun in one lane & stay out of the way of the serious swimmers. There is also a spa and gym. The restaurant, Urbana, is expensive, at least for breakfast, but the food was good. There is an expresso bar in the lobby. I would definitely stay there again.

If you're used to a grand lobby and large dedicated spaces, this Hyatt will surprise you.
It's a multi-purpose building that includes the hotel, a health club with outside membership, and a number of floors of condo apartments. The most stricking feature
is the very unique lighting of the hotel at night, consisting of many ribbons of blue fixtures
which extend from the top to the bottom of the hotel.

The reception area and modest reatuarant/bar are ultra modern. The staff was efficient,
profession, and friendly.

The rooms are equally modern. I'd describe them as a fusion of a beautifully decorated
office and an equally beautiful and functional bedroom. There were many thoughful and
well designed features for a comfortable stay. It's slightly out of the "large hotel" area in
town but also closer to some of the local attractions in Seattle.

I was completely satisfied with my stay.
