The Hyatt at Olive 8 was very, very nice. The decor was very modern. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The location was great! We would highly recommend this hotel for a great stay! We were able to book our room quite a while in advance and the pricing was fabulous for the wonderful amenties of this Hotel! We loved everything about it!

This was a great hotel with nice size rooms, big bathrooms, comfortable beds and linens. Our room needed to have its wall repainted because you could visibly see that paint patches on the wall. The valet, front desk, concierge were all very nice, pleasant and willing to help out with any of your needs. It is in a great location to public transit and walking distance to all the downtown attractions.
Our only complaint to the hotel is the restaurant. They did not acknowledge we were there and waiting for a table. It was not very busy and the staff was too busy talking to each other. After waiting 10 min for a table we are seated next to a two young couples who were letting their baby throw food all over their area and into ours. It took the kitchen over 30 min to get out our food of french toast, pancakes, eggs & toast. The waitress did not come back to give us coffee and we had to find someone to ask her to bring our check.
This is a great hotel with a fantastic willing to help staff in all areas except the restaurant. We liked it so much we booked for the end of our two trip to Canada/Washington.

Room Tip: Ask to not have a room right next to the office building.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights in December 2010. It was our first time in Seattle and also the first night of our holiday. We were greeted warmly on our arrival and check in was fast and hassle-free. We stayed in a Deluxe King Room. The room was wonderful. There was plenty of space and everything was clean and well-presented. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fine for two adults. Great shower too! The staff were very friendly and always happy to help. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Seattle!

This hotel is very modern. The rooms are spacious with all the amenities and modern furnishings. A lot of thought has been put into the layout of the room (electrical outlets, workstation etc). The fitness center and pool were great, with equipment better than the best sports clubs. I felt the restaurant was a little pricey, even for the area. Location is very good-only a block from shopping and a 10 minute walk to Pike Place Market. Service was excellent-evryone on the staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a great hotel with a modern vibe. The hotel itself is gorgeous with a sleek, uncluttered look. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed with a fantastic bathroom. The lighting in the rooms enhances it quite a bit. I had a corner room with about 30 feet of wrap around windows- the whole hotel has an abundance of windows and natural lighting. The pool/spa is very nice and fosters relaxation. Overall, one of the better hotels I've stayed in and a great place to unwind after traveling
