Received an upgrade to the presidentail suite. WOW!!!. my room was the same size as my house in san antonio. The Hyatt has always taken good care of me along with the Hilton. This hotel is very innovative, clean and the staff was excellent. It is pretty far away from the airport though. Food at the bar was very good as well. A busniss hotel from the feel of it.. Yes i will return for sure.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us, even though it was just one night. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the suite, and that you were met with the superior customer service that Hyatt prides itself on. Although we are located in downtown, we are a short walking distance to the Light Rail station which takes you right to the Sea-Tac airport (and our stadiums). This a quick and affordable way to get around the city. We hope you will choose the Hyatt at Olive 8 for your next stay in Seattle!

Used reward points to book a free overnight while passing thru Seattle on a vacation in the PacNW. Upon arrival, reception bumped us to a full suite with appreciation for my Diamond loyalty. What a room! Wished we could have stayed more nights. Spacious, comfortable and relaxing. While a business hotel, they treat the casual traveler just as well, and are very close to everything. As always, staff attitudes and service were fantastic. Breakfast in the restuarant was very good, as well. Thanks Hyatt!!

it was a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Good location in downtown, walking distance for shopping , capital hill, pike market,..... Comfortable modern clean rooms with nice bathrooms. I will definitively come back to this Hotel. Urban restaurant is also great pace to have a delicious dinner. Only thing to improve are the opening hours of the coffee shop.

We stayed 4 nights to attend Seattle Mariner games against the Toronto Blue Jays. Location was excellent, close to Pike Market and a short walk to the train station that takes you to the Stadium. This train was within the "Free" zone so that prior to 7 PM, you can travel for free to the stop prior to the Stadium stop. We paid the all day rate of $4.00 per person and went directly to the Stadium stop. Excellent train service almost door to door. Too bad the Blue Jays lost all 3 games we attended. Not the hotel's fault.

Our rate included an awesome breakfast. The workout and spa is excellent and not over crowded in the morning.

Thank you for the review! The Light Rail train system is perfect for getting to the stadium from our hotel (and the airport, as well). The stop just before the Stadium is the 'International District' which will take you to the stadium parking lot entrance. We also appreciate the comments on your breakfast - our restaurant, Urbane, serves up a delicious farm-to-table menu that you can order to your room if you want to dine in privacy. Good luck to your team on the rest of the season, and we hope to see you again soon!

Spacious and clean rooms. Perfect location for a weekend in the city. The hotel is very close to shopping and sightseeing highlights of Seattle. Breakfast is ok, but nothing special. Would definitely stay there again next time!

I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Amazing location (downtown, shopping, Pike market, bars and restaurants). Staff extremely helpfull, internet free if you join their gold passport (also free). Nice pool and comfortable rooms. Bath is amazing-you just don't want to finish showering!

We appreciate the wonderful review for the Hyatt at Olive 8. Our central location is perfect for getting around the city by foot or public transportation, and we are just a few minutes from the Pike Place Market, the Space Needle and the waterfront featuring our newest attraction - the Seattle Great Wheel. I am so glad to hear that you were comfortable during your stay with us, and we hope to welcome you back to our property the next time you are stateside. Cheers!

I tend to like stark, minimalist environments, so this met my needs. The hotel is new, or at least appears new, so everything is clean and in working order. It occupies the first 17 floors of a condo mixed use high rise building. The rooms are narrow and on the smaller side (like most most new buildings), but they are efficiently laid out with many clever built in amenities. The beds are very comfortable. The building is very quiet and the climate control excellent (on a summer weekend when the Seattle temperature went into the 90's). The hotel is in a quieter section of downtown but just a 2 1/2 block walk from the Westlake Station where you can either catch the light rail to Sea Tac Airport or the Monorail to the Seattle Center. Restaurants in Belltown are equally close. Staff was efficient and helpful. We had a breakfast package at the in-house Urbane Restaurant which was quite good and far beyond the typically offered continental breakfast. I would rather stay here than the gigantic convention Grand Hyatt across the street. We will definitely stay here again on the next visit.

Room Tip: It looks like if you splurge for a corner room, you might have more space.
