Hotels in Seattle are expensive so I tried this one based on some positive reviews on this site and Yelp. The room was clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location is a very short drive from downtown and University Village. Very basic breakfast with just cereal, toast, and fruit. There was no guest computer or printer.

The two main issues would be the quality of the area and the noise. A quick internet search will reveal that Aurora Avenue has been a hotbed of prostitution in the past. There were some rather sketchy looking characters walking around the bus stop, the AM/PM across the street, and the Jack in the Box. Definitely would not recommend walking around at night. There is also a TON of street noise, and you'll hear a lot of THUMP THUMP as people walk past your room. Having said all that, a few blocks away you will find some cool restaurants, but I would definitely drive to them and not walk.

I think this is an okay place if you need a quick cheap room for a night - for a longer stay, the Travelodge in University Village seemed like a much better area, although I haven't stayed at that hotel.

Had a pleasant stay. We were concerned about transportation to the Amtrak station which was 7 miles away. Front desk arranged for taxi pick up at a precise time. I know this is normal at motels but our party was very concerned about making our connection. The staff eliminated that concern. Thank you!
