Everyone was more than helpful and kind with our three little children, VERY impressed with hotel and would look to stay at a Hampton hotel again if the opportunity arose. Great and comfortable room, nice variety of breakfast options over several days.

Warm and welcoming staff. Clean room. Great location. Sports bar next door had fantastic food. Got shuttled to place I needed to be both days by hotel staff. Overall, a great value and I would certainly stay at this hotel again when in Seattle.

Stayed Thursday thru Sunday for a wedding July 25-28. Checked in late and was upgraded to a suite- what a wonderful accommodation - would have loved my family to have been with me. Used AAA got two bottles of h2o at check in. Rate was pretty high and this weekend was the busiest for events in Seattle. Cruise ship folks and the Seafair run and parade added to the population. The staff handled the full house well. Breakfast was pretty crowded Friday and Saturday with cruisers getting up and out, but plenty of seating was available. Nice bar across the way where it was happy hour prices on drink specials and food every time we were there- which was every night. Close walk to monorail and Chihuly Garden and glass and space needle. Took the rail to the market three times. Ride the Ducks is worth it- make your reservation online at hotel to get a little discount and get the time and seats you want- had a great driver and you really see the city and go on lake Union which is fun.

Room Tip: The suites were on the other side of parking lot, ground level and had an entrance on that side whic...

We booked the Hampton Inn for three nights a few months in advance for a stay in October during our first visit to Seattle. The Hotels.com nonrefundable, advance purchase rate was $115/night before taxes, which included a King bed room and daily breakfast, so the cost made this stay an excellent value.

The front desk was perpetually helpful and efficient. We were coming from an unplanned stay the night before at the Mediterranean Inn across the Seattle Center (see the review), and arrived at Hampton Inn with our bags a few hours before check in. After a bit of deliberation, they found a room ready for us and allowed us to check in early, which was an awesome courtesy (they had offered to keep our bags otherwise). We were quickly checked into Room 409.

The room was more than adequate for a 3-night stay. Plenty of room for luggage and belongings, decent-sized bathroom with a large stall shower and room-length sink. Everything was spotlessly clean, and there were little notes here and there to let us know the duvet cover and blankets had been freshly washed for our stay. Small detail, but after all those 20/20 exposes on hotel germs, it was a nice touch. Large desk and chair, and an armchair in the corner. Really comfortable king-sized bed with above-average linens. Plenty of room to move around the bed with a large luggage table and closet available. New-looking giant flatscreen tv with complementary HBO. Individual-serving coffee maker with coffee cartridges included. Hairdryer and plenty of toiletries in the bathroom that were replenished daily.

Daily breakfast was fine - usually a couple of hot items (eggs, pre-made omelets, bacon, etc), oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, cold cereal, beverages, bagels/etc. Nothing to write home about, but more than enough to get us started for the day.

The #3 & #4 buses stop right across from the hotel going downtown, and I'd also highly recommend the trip up to Queen Anne in the opposite direction. It's a quaint little neighborhood with a farmer's market on Thursday evenings including a group of food trucks with various kinds of cuisine. Several good restaurants are within walking distance around the Seattle Center, which is basically right across the street. Citizen is a great brunch & coffee spot behind the hotel, and there's a 7-Eleven on the next block north.

Our flight was late on the last day, and the front desk was kind enough to hold our bags for several hours as well as call us a cab in advance. Housekeeping staff was extremely thorough and always friendly - in fact I don't think I passed any staff member without them saying hello. Really professional and welcoming.

All in all, for the price, it was a comfortable, great stay. We'd definitely recommend it.

Excellent place to stay with a great location, close to the Space Needle, Chihuly's Garden and Glass Collection, and Tram. The Tram was just minutes away from Pike's Market and other attractions. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety each day. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I hate to give this hotel the rating based on the attitude of 1 employee...but this was the last employee I interacted with due to me checking out and she was rude. It was early in the morning and trust....I didn't want to be up that early but we have to do things we don't want in life. Megan never cracked a smile and had a very nasty attitude as I was asking her questions pertaining to my billing when checking out. It was the gentleman that was standing there with her that answered my questions with a smile. I'm not a fool as to how hotel charges work, I just wanted to make sure my credit card was not charged and that all charges were billed to my debit card, which I presented to her when checking out. I got the feeling I was bothering her & she didn't want to be there. But that's fine...never again!! Overall, I'll be honest...this is a very nice hotel and I enjoyed the room, as well as the other employees I came across.
