This is a wonderful park located at the north end of Capitol Hill. The conservatory is located on the north end of the park. Great collection of succulents and don't miss the dahlia garden just 100 yards out the door.

I love this conservatory. It is beautiful, smells wonderful, and introduces the visitor to really unusual and gorgeous plants. The trees just outside are a treat too.

Always wanted to get back to the conservatory after having been out the Seattle area for years. Doing the on-line dating I decided to meet on Capital Hill at the Conservatory. A great date. $4 each to get in, plenty of photo opportunities, chances to talk about plants, nature, your feminine side :) There are fabulous plants, old growths succulents, orchids, vines, water features in a greenhouse hot-house environment. All-in-all a very enjoyable meeting date.

I have been to the conservatory many times and always notice something new... it's a well-cared for building with very nice plantings. A great place to spend a rainy day, and in nice weather, be sure to take a walk around the lovely Volunteer Park in which it is located! Seattle Asian Art Museum is in the same park -- enjoy all three!
