This hotel was our home base for a long weekend.

I was attracted by the get the 3rd night free deal. We were very happy with the value you get for the space and comfort of the rooms. It's in Queen Anne so centrally located without being trapped in downtown traffic.

The staff was always helpful and polite. The parking and wifi were free. That's a huge plus in Seattle.

We would stay there again.

Very cool, comfortable and colorful, we couldn't believe what we were getting for what we paid! Easy walk to all the Seattle sights, we definitly will be staying here again.

We have been staying at the Maxwell since it opened. It's extremely quirky for a large hotel. It's not so much a boutique hotel as it is a clean, modern place that marches to the beat of its own drummer.

The rooms are so massive that a couple could spread out all their luggage and still have space to practice yoga, should they so choose. The bathrooms have huge walk-in showers, but they don't quite spray enough water to be suitable as a two-person shower.

The location is ideal as its right in the heart of the city, but that is also a hindrance if there is an event going on at Key Arena or Seattle Center and you are trying to get back to the hotel. And there never seems to be enough parking in the hotel parking lot, although there's plenty of street parking.

The staff are friendly and helpful. There are artistic interpretations of pineapples everywhere. The staff like to explain why there are pineapples everywhere.

We stayed here one night and could not have been more pleased with this beautiful, brand new hotel! The decor is so fresh, colorful, and welcoming. The lobby, corridors, and rooms were just fantastic. Truly, every part of this hotel is just top notch. The afternoon coffee and pineapple mini cupcakes were a nice treat too. The bed was super comfy and soft; and the bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The hotel is a short walk to Pike Market, restaurants, shopping, REI store, Space Needle, etc. We borrowed the free bikes and helmets which was a nice touch. If you like authentic tasting pizza and calzones, try "Bambinos" just a few blocks from the hotel. The only small complaint I have is the noise that comes from the hallways. There does not seem to be any sound proofing in the hallways- we could hear every door slam, foot steps, talking, the housekeeper in the morning, etc. Although we did not experience any noise while trying to sleep, it could affect a guest if they were trying to sleep in. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Usually when we visit Seattle we stay at The Watertown but we wanted someplace that allowed easier access to Seattle in the morning. Wow. The hotel is new and wonderful with friendly staff, a nice room, a great bed and solid construction. Could hear the television from the room next door - grrr - but otherwise quiet. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Definitely would go back.
