the queen size rooms were the largest we had on our trip in Canada and US so far, they are ideal for family trips (3 persons). rooms have a fridge and a microwave, everything was very clean - no carpets -, staff extremely friendly, no hidden costs, e.g. parking is for free!

we really had a very good stay and would come again and would also try other pineapple hotels.

Location, service, shuttle service, and rooms were outstanding. Loved the style and comfort of this hotel. The beds were amazing and the pillows, which we almost notoriously hate at hotels, were perfect-not too fat and not too flat! It was a short walk to the Space Needle and there were plenty of restaurants in the area. We were able to shuttle to both Pike Market and Safeco Field, although we did walk to and from Pike Market one of the days that we were there. We'd recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely return if we ever go back to Seattle.

We have stayed at the Maxwell a few times and have always been impressed by the service, friendliness and loveliness of the rooms.
We also love the location. Highly recommended
(and the cupcakes in the afternoon are a terrific touch)

What a gem! First off location! This is about 1.5 blocks from the space needle area which has a ton of museums and attractions. What is also great is that the monorail connects the space needle to Westlake plaza which is right in the heart of downtown Seattle very close to Pike's area.
The hotel was quiet and clean. Our room was very modern, pretty and very roomy! The bed was comfortable and they provided adequate pillows. The staff was very nice, always willing to help you and answer questions. There are a good few awesome places to eat with in a few blocks of the hotel! The wifi was great! They do shuttles that take you downtown if you don't want to use the monorail. They do only run the shuttle until 530 so plan accordingly or take the monorail back. Recommended food nearby, Ten Sushi, Toulouse Petit, and for breakfast get some pastries at Nielsen’s Authentic Danish Pastry!!!!

The only negative would be the pool area isn't very exciting and no hot tub. But this would probably be sufficient for kids.

I'm very selective in choosing a place to stay and this place actually exceeded my expectations. I loved the cleanliness the decor and the location! I really loved the lamps in our room, how each one was different. There were just little details that showed they care. The staff was super nice & helpful, right away they gave us a map and let us know about the shuttle. They have other transportation numbers too, we used cab and even took a bus! There was a 24 hour grocery store (QFC, 5th and Mercer) 4 blocks away. The fridge, microwave and keurig provides conveniences of home. The coffee bar was great! We had a town car arranged through the hotel for pickup from the airport, which was awesome. The space needle was a 5 min walk and from there you can even take to monorail to get closer to pike st.or the rail line). We took the complimentary shuttle there both days and the driver Eric J was awesome! We booked the shuttle the night before and early in the morning and it was no problem. I felt safe here, the room key was needed to go up the elevator, we had plenty of privacy. Yes the nearby neighborhood had some boarded up buildings, but that just seemed sad, not at all scary. My husband made friends quickly at the bar downstairs so he had fun too! I was told Dick's had awesome hamburgers but we ran out of time for another meal. We took the free Seattle walking tour of the Pike St. Market and still needed 2 days to see most of it. Eat at the space needle. The complimentary bikes that the Maxwell offered were a nice option, remember the hills you go down as you ride away have to be climbed to get back up. The pineapple cupcakes were yummy and another caring touch. The shower was nice, the no door thing was weird at first but not a big deal. The soaps were tommy bahama, preferred my own shampoo and conditioner though. In room coffee was Starbucks, nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel and would only stay here, if returning to Seattle.

Booked this based on a fantastic deal they do with the Seattle Glassblowing Studio and this was the main reason for staying here.

Location is a 5 minute walk from the Space Needle and attractions in that area. Check in staff were friendly, room was OK. 2 queen beds, chair, fridge and microwave.

Hotel has underground parking which is great, they also have a shuttle service that takes you into the city to various places...really nice touch. We didn't try them but the cupcakes were also a plus.

There were a couple of downsides that are worth bearing in mind when requesting a room...our room was over the car park and so we heard the cars coming and going at all hours, the people in the room above were very heavy footed and it sounded like they were pacing up and down the room for hours.

It was a clean hotel, the staff were friendly and the services were good. Would probably stay here again when we come back, would just ask for a different room.

We appreciate the great review! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your stay. I'm glad that you enjoyed the friendly staff, the location, and the Glassblowing Studio. I'm sorry to hear about the noise from the cars and the noisy folks above you. We can definitely see about getting you on a higher floor next time.

Very nice hotel with excellent service. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. It was within walking distance ( about 5-6 blocks) to the EMP Museum, Space Needle, Chihuly Gardens and the Bill Gates Foundation. There is also a grocery store nearby if you need some snacks. There are complimentary bikes in the lobby for guests to use as well as a complimentary shuttle. The shuttle just needs to be reserved in advance and does fill up quickly. There was a restaurant/bar on site as well a coffee shop in the lobby. I felt very secure as you need your room key to access the elevator. The rooms were very roomy and spacious.
