Our stay at Soundview Cottage was relaxing and delightful. Our host, Annie, was attentive and thought of everything to make our stay in Seattle most comfortable, including fresh flowers, delicious breakfast items, and beautiful bathroom. I hope to return to this retreat soon!! Thank you, Annie!
What all of the other reviews have said is true...this place is fantastic! Gorgeous setting, cozy cottage, and the best hostess ever. This adorable little spot was perfect for our Seattle getaway. It's a short drive to the city, and it's surrounded by nature so you'll get the best of city and secluded. Plus, Annie (who lives in the house in front of this cottage) was wonderfully helpful in making suggestions for things to do. What's more, she stocked the kitchen with plenty of tasty treats for us to enjoy during our stay. I hope to get to stay here again soon!
The cottage had everything you could need for a relaxing way to unwind after a days excursions. Comfy bed, lovely views from the deck and peace and quiet. Something we really have as a must on our vacations.
A plentiful supply of fresh breakfast goodies and beyond was an added bonus.
Great location for exploring around Seattle. One tip - do not drive in to Seattle itself - finding parking is not easy. The air museum near by is a must and if you like hiking you have to drive down to Mount Rainier.
Annie was the perfect host and if we were ever back in the area we would definitely stay again.
Nestled on a curve of a peninsula overlooking the sound, everything from Soundview Cottage including the serene view from the hot tub for two to the tempting treats filling the fridge prepared us for our day trips to Seattle and Tacoma. We were tempted to never leave, we hope to return soon!
We LOVED our stay at the cottage! We were there from 8/30-9/8. It honestly felt like a 2nd home. Annie was so kind and helpful if we had any questions. The fridge with basic needs was awesome! The hot tub was much needed. I officially hate my bed and pillows at home - the bed was that comfortable. There are a few beaches not too far either which was great! We visited Seahurst the most. I would absolutely visit Seattle and if possible stay at the cottage again. Thank you Annie. Greg & I were not ready to leave :)
Annie made us feel so at home in this beautiful cottage. When we arrived the fridge was stocked with bread, fresh fruit, and yoghurt and everything was wonderfully clean. The bed is huge and super comfy and has a lovely en suite bathroom. The kitchen and living area are very light and have a fantastic view through the patio doors over the sound. We particularly loved the hot tub on the deck, which we enjoyed in the evenings whilst taking in the sunset over the sound. We had a wonderful time, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we return to Seattle.

A super clean and comfortable place to stay for a long weekend, or week stay as we did recently!
My husband and I loved the breakfast foods stocked up for us, as well as the gorgeous views of the sound, and the quiet location of this home. We are runners, and it is a beautiful place to run and see the water, and surrounding beauty. Great location to visit our son and his family in the area. Hostess Annie is a gem, as are Carla and her husband who are nearby, and can offer friendly ideas to area trails, restaurants, and Trader Joes!!!. The hot tub is an unexpected and delightful surprise!! I am returning next month!!
