Hotel rooms in Seattle aren't cheap especially compared to ours in the Midwest. But the money we paid was really worth it. The hotel is 3 blocks from the Space Needle. From our room, you could see the top 1/2 of it and it was cool to just sit there at night and watch the lights change colors. Everything was clean and the staff rocked. The rooms have a little couch area that is separated from the beds by a partial wall. This was nice for me to stay up late and watch TV without bothering the rest of my family. The free breakfast was good. Another cool part is that they have someone there all day and night who can cook you up some food like burgers and such. They also have sandwiches and pop you can buy at the front desk. Another perk is that Walgreens was right across the street...an economical way to stock up on pop and snacks. They have a free shuttle that will drop you off or pick you up within a mile radius. Very Handy.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the hotel to be fantastic. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff who checked us in straight away but not without telling us about what services were provided as part of the hotel and where all the tourist attractions were.
The hotel offers a 24 hour shuttle service that you can use to drop off/pick up at any location within a 5 mile radius. This is great if you don't feel safe walking around late at night or have done too much shopping and just need a ride back. We didn't use the service because the hotel was in walking distance to everything! The Space needle is just around the corner, downtown and pike place market are just a short stroll away and there are plenty of great places to eat nearby. We recommend Umi Sake House!
The hotel offers free breakfast and has hot and cold options. It's not your full buffet but has enough options for a quick and easy breakfast (fruit, cereal, toast, tea/coffee), the room was spacious and had a large couch to relax on. The bed was really comfortable and there was a desk and fridge/coffee machine available for use. The bathroom was open plan with the sink and mirror separate to the shower and toilet. On the last day the staff organised a private car to take us to the airport - same price as a taxi after the tip but it was a very comfortable and our driver extremely friendly. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we'd definitely stay here again.

My daughter and I just stayed at this hotel and it exceeded our expectations. When we checked in we were warmly greeted and got an early check in as requested. The lobby is clean, modern and welcoming. The room was very spacious, clean and bright. I was concerned about the noise from the highway after reading previous posts but it really wasn't bad at all (and I'm a light sleeper). It is a city so some traffic noise is to be expected. The bathroom is tiny but that's minor to me. The location of this hotel was ideal, walking distance to everything, felt like a central area. We used the shuttle when needed, fantastic service. The most we waited for it was 10 minutes. The people that work at the desk were always helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine, some freshly cooked items and fresh fruit salad, the usual. I would give it 5 stars but it's not a luxury hotel. I will be staying here again the next time I'm in Seattle.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights. We really like Hyatt Place and this property is very nice. Front desk staff were all very helpful, easy check-in and parking ($20 per night). Spacious, comfortable and quiet room, big lobby and breakfast area. Close to the Space Needle. Breakfast was very good, typical Hyatt Place offerings. The wi-fi was not very good, it kept disconnecting and we'd have to re-log in. The hotel has a free shuttle for destinations within one mile. It was really handy, we took the shuttle to/from the waterfront, saving us the hassle of driving and trying to find parking. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. We would stay here again when in Seattle.

We stayed here for 2 days. Booked it last minute and weren't disappointed. We asked for a room facing the needle and a higher floor. We got the 7th floor out of 9. The view of the needle was great. It is close to the needle about 5 minute walk as well as the emp museum and monorail. The hotel has a shuttle for free on first come bases. Next door is a walgreens in case you need supplies. There are a few restaurants close by. There is some construction going on so that might wake you up. Couldn't really hear street noise. You get free breakfast, wifi and parking is only $20 a day. Some hotels we checked out charged up to $45. The breakfast was pretty good. A good mix for everybody. The room was comfortable. The only downside if you can call it that was the bathroom. The shower etc was nice but it was a little tight closing the door. You had to step past the toilet to close the door.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. I love Hyatt Place because their room setup is like a mini suite and always so much more spacious than standard hotel rooms. Their free breakfast is always a nice perk because it has great variety and is really good. The entire staff at this hotel was friendly and accommodating. They offer a shuttle service to anywhere within a mile radius and it is absolutely perfect. Every day we took the free shuttle to all the major sites and would call them to come pick us up when we were ready to come back. They even took us to another hotel where we picked up our rental car the day we checked out! Seattle is a pricey city, so the money you save just by using the free shuttle service and breakfast make this hotel a great deal. It's within walking distance of the city center where the Space Needle and EMP are. Also, there's a fantastic little restaurant named Tilikum Place Cafe nearby I would recommend checking out!

Room Tip: If you want a bathtub and a Space Needle view ask for a handicap room on the top floor
