“Good tour”
Reviewed 1 November 2012

Our tourgude, RocketMan, was a bit (actually quite) self-promoting, stopping some strangers
along the way to become "involved" with our group and the artistic and surreal experience of street art. Hey! Pay your $20, that's what I say! RocketMan (don't know his real name, but it appears he may own this tour group) comes off as a bit pompous and dramatic, but very informative. He really knows his street art and the history of this quirky part of Seattle. Enough about our guide, the tour itself was informative and actually lots of fun! Would I do this tour again? Hmmm, maybe not. RocketMan gave us enough history and facts that when I return, I will visit some of the artsy establishments in Fremont and visit the troll (love that creature!) under the bridge myself. If I came with a Seattle newbie, well, then maybe. One should experience this fun, unique tour at least once.

“Wonderfully entertaining tour of quirky Fremont”
Reviewed 15 August 2012

My partner and I took our grandaughter on the Fremont Tour when she was visiting from Minnesota. It was a perfect sunny day, and we all had a fun time. Our tour guide, Rocket Man, was excellent and made the experience an excellent one.

“The Center of the Universe”
Reviewed 23 January 2012

Even for a local, this is just fun! If you have ever been a Patches Pal, have ever waited for the Interurban, or just want some irreverent commentary on the quirky community that is Fremont, give it a try. Bring the camera, the under-the-bridge view is beautiful. And that is pointing away from the Volkswagen eating troll.

“The Fun Side of Seattle”
Reviewed 5 September 2011

Our family stayed a few days in Seattle after a cruise. Found the Fremont tour on the web and it looked like a different kind of tour. Take it and enjoy a lighter side of Seattle where they like to have fun. This is a walking tour but it is less than a half mile and takes about 90 minutes.

Where else are you going to find a Troll under a bridge holding a Volkswagen? We learned about 'Art Attacks' when Fremonsters (residents of Fremont) playfully decorate the statutes. What other neighborhood has their own ''Cold war' era rocket that they use to remind City Hall to behave themselves and a 7 ton Lenin Statute that has a hidden secret. Take the tour and find out the 'hidden" secret meaning behind this statue created in Czechoslovakia just at the end of the Cold War.

Had lunch afterward at the Greek Restaurant Costas Opa which had tasty food and a variety that pleased our diverse tastes of our adult family.
