The Grand Hyatt Seattle always provide a excellent experience. We were here for four nights and found housekeeping meticulous and other services well above par. Walkable to hip restaurants and entertainment in Belltown and Capitol Hill.

Really good location! The bathroom is huge! You can walk to Purple and to the Market. There is a big mall in front and lots of restaurants around. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant but was not that nice... And quite expensive. But I do recommend the hotel.

This hotel is huge but the rooms are well isolated from the hubbub of the events on the ground floor. Good location just a few downhill blocks to Pike's Place Market. Large, nicely furnished room, extremely comfortable bed and deluxe bathroom with lovely tub and separate shower. Downside: Fee for wifi, no newspaper delivery. upside: free computer for printing boarding passes in lobby.

Great location! Fabulous grand lounge with the best granola and fresh fruit around. The staff in the grand lounge were all professional, friendly and a real asset to this property. When in Seatlle - stay here. You will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: Choose a high floor and do splurge and opt for the lounge access! You will not be disappointed!

Upon checkin I was given a very nice corner suite. Entry into the room has a nice sitting area with couch, chair, work desk and TV. Bedroom is located down a short hallway and includes a very comfy bed, chair and large TV in corner. Because of the corner room there were several large windows. One small impressive feature was the powered drapes which were opperated by two switches on the wall.

The staff was very friendly and provided excellent recommendations for dinning options.

Location was also excellent, easy walk down to Pike Place as well as countless resturants and shops.

So what is not to like about the Grand Hyatt in Seattle; very few things. This is a nice property, in the heart of downtown, with restaurants and other entertainment venues within walking distance. I found the staff helpful, pleasant and friendly.

The rooms are spacious with the ammenities you would expect from a hotel in this price range. I really enjoyed the bathroom, believe it or not. Tile floor, glass enclosed shower, oversize tub, extra large vanity and sink area...... it was nice ;)

A couple of areas for improvement:

~ Not enough elecrical outlets on the desk. Please don't make it so difficult to find and use an electric outlet in the desk area. Could really use a power strip on the wall behind the desk, the desktop or the floor under the desk.

~ The room could use a paint refresh. There were patched areas on the walls and some of the walls were fairly marked up.

~ Need more electric outlets on the nightstands next to the bed. Really don't like searching walls to find outlets to plug in my phone and other devices

~ I paid more than $200 a night for the room. Don't nickel and dime me for internet access. Just include it in the price of the room. At these rates, another dollar or two added to the room charge won't make that much of a difference. When you make me pay daily for Internet access, I get annoyed ;)

Room Tip: I had a standard room and it was very good.

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Grand Hyatt prior to our Alaskan cruise last August. We had a corner room and I must say that we enjoyed our stay( love the bed ). The hotel is in the middle of everything(shopping and restaurants). The staff were all accommodating and were always smiling( from the bellman to the receptionists). I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay here in my next trip to Seattle.

Room Tip: Request for a corner room on the high floor
