“Great Location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 May 2010

This hotel wa wonderful. The staff were very helpful and made our stay great. The room was big and very clean. The noise level was ok. You did hear some doors slamming and some talking in the hallways. The hotel is located in the center of everything and easy to get around. Great views and would stay again. Beware of extra charges such as parking, internet, and the minibar. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for a long weekend in May and would recommend the hotel. The location is good, central for most places and transport links. Check-in was painless and the guy taking our bags up to the room was polite and courteous and showed us the gadgets of the room and warned us about the silly mini-bar with its sensor mechanism (very handy when travelling with children who may just move things around and you will still get charged for it).

The room was nice with a separation between the bedroom and lounge area, and the bathroom a good size and power-shower.

We did not use the gym or restaurant but did find the starbucks downstairs very helpful for caffeine fixes and it was open quite late too.

It is rather a big hotel and whilst we were there, lots of conferences going on which made it feel quite business-like. All-in-all it is a safe bet for a stay in Seattle.

Very pleased with our two small stays at this hotel in May. Both rooms were well appointed with good size bathrooms including walk in shower and large bath. Would recommend asking for a higher floor to get the best views of Seattle.
Would recommend the nearby Taphouse Bar for real American food, wines and beers.

I booked a room at a discounted rate and expected to get a low-floor room with a view of some alley, but when I checked in, I got a room on the 24th floor (one floor below club level) and a view of the Space Needle and the Bay. All the staff were very nice and it seemed genuine. The room was very clean and the room service was fast. I really liked staying here much better than at the Pan Pacific. The location is great as well. The ONLY things I did not like were the shower amenities- the soap, shampoo etc. smelled like poison, but I am not a fan of ginger smell anyway, and the internet was not free. I will definitely stay here again.

I came for a conference, paid $30 for an upgrade to a corner suite (when reserving), well worth it. Living room, separate bedroom, large bathroom and closet. Great location at the east side of downtown by convention center, near the freeway, light rail to the airport (and underground stations for downtown buses), and Capitol Hill. Room was quiet, clean; internet $9.95 a day. Hotel was modern decor, lots of wood, pleasant atmosphere. Ruth Chris is in the lobby, very good for lunch (didn't have breakfast or dinner there, so many other good choices nearby). Would definitely consider staying here again (though I'm a SPG Platinum elite).

It's a very nice hotel. Many ameneties including an excellent workout room. The location is one block from the conv center, 2 blocks from the tram to the Space Needle, and maybe 5 blocks to Pike Market. Centrally located to everything - shopping, restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The problem with this hotel is noise. You expect noise in any hotel, but these walls are so thin and so poorly sound insulated it's worse than a cheap travel motel. I could hear conversations from MULTIPLE rooms. The doors slam louder than any hotel I can remember. I sleep pretty well, but I was awakened continuously every night for 4 nights. There are a lot of good choices in downtown Seattle, so I will look around next time for a better selection. Also, at this rate, free internet or breakfast would have been nice. Last, the in-room coffee maker was hidden away in a drawer - almost like they didn't want you to find it (there is a Starbucks in the lobby).

Centrally located in downtown Seattle. I was there for a conference. Hotel banquet staff was great. The banquet food was excellent. Presentation was awesome. I also ate the at Ruths Chris steakhouse (adjacent to the hotel), also excellent (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was plush and very clean.
