We arrived at 2 hoping to get into room early, waited til 3:20pm -told that checkin is 4pm. Room needs updating couch/chair very worn, need to be replaced. Bed very comfortable. quiet room. Breakfast was a nice variety. Ironing board needs new cover, husbands shirt had ironing board marks after ironing... right across street from lake and also the streetcar and bus were also right there very convenient -pricey would recommend for couples, families.

Room Tip: Pool is on third floor, so avoid close to that with kids room next to pool. All rooms seemed quiet w...

We selected this hotel since our large family could fit into their two-bedroom suites, and it is not far from Pier 66 where our cruise ship was to dock. (We had hoped maybe we could walk from the hotel to the pier, but decided it was too far when carrying our heavy luggage.) We stayed one night before our cruise departure and one night after we returned. In both instances, the rooms were very large and very clean. The first room had an enormous balcony with an amazing view of Seattle! The complimentary breakfast had a great variety, and the food was excellent. The staff of the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. When we left our cruise ship much earlier than we expected, the staff was happy to care for our luggage and gave us detailed information about the city sights we were interested in visiting. As a result, we had a great day walking around Seattle. If we ever returned to the area, we would be glad to stay here again.

If traveling with older children, this is the place to stay . Big rooms they get there own bed. You can close the door to your room. There is room to hang out and more than one tv. If your are a jw. Marriott person you will turn your nose up. But for a dad, the peace and quite in the room is worth it. Breakfast has a variety to meet all taste. Location is ideal. If you drive a car parking on street is free after 6pm-8am. Staff helpful, rooms clean no problem with noise

My husband and I and my two adult children stay here in a two bedroom suite for three nights prior to our Alasakan cruise. I love the location, just across the street from the Wooden Boat Museum on Lake Union and a short bus ride or a nice long walk to downtown. The area is safe and very clean. Summer hotel rates in Seattle are pricey, as the suite was although the suite was a little less than two comparable hotel rooms. We had a nice sitting area and kitchen which we just used for snacking and tea. Breakfast was included in the rate, the breakfast was adequate with a liquid eggs, ham, muffin, yogurt and cereal selection plus fresh fruit and juice and coffee and tea.The hotel is very clean, the lobby is a soaring atrium, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only cons were there was not enough electrical outlets in the bedrooms to charge all of the electric devices we now all carry. The two queen beds and the King bed was extremely comfortable but the sofa bed was uncomfortable for an adult to sleep in. The toilet, tub area was separated from the sink vanity area which was nice but the toilet tub area felt like a closet. All said this is a great hotel and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Recently stayed at this Residence Inn at the end of April. I booked a 2 bedroom suite with two bathrooms. The room was fantastic and very clean. It even included a small balcony and small kitchen area including a dishwasher. The hot free breakfast was also a nice benefit and provided a great start to our day. The hotel is very close to the Space Needle and easy access to highway 5 as well. The lobby area is massive and has lots of seating for breakfast including easy chairs and sofas. I would say the only issue i had was the fee for parking at over $30.00 including tax! I did not think you could tax something like parking. I also wonder why hotels charge so much for parking. Other than the parking (which was in a covered garage) I would highly recommend this Residence Inn.

We stayed there recently on a trip to Seattle.
The atrium and common areas were updated, looked much brighter.
The rooms were clean and well stocked, everything worked.
The breakfast was good, something for everyone.
The pool was great, heated and clean. Watch out on the poolside tiled surround, its slippery, but manageable.
People that work there again went out of their way to help us whenever we needed it. A pleasant experience.
We were close to downtown, if not right there.
It took only a $13 fare to get to Safeco Field, a quick 7 min trip to the game.
Nice option if you wish to leave the car and maybe have an adult beverage while enjoying the Mariners game.
The suite was perfect to relax while the little one was asleep, maybe have a drink before bed.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the lake.

This hotel is walking distance to Lake Union, there are three restaurants across the street, and a short drive to many other key spots in Seattle. Easy to access from the freeway but, you have to pay $25 a day for parking. Rooms are large with balconies. The hotel serves great daily breakfast and some nights a light dinner which is included in with your room rate. Strong wifi too. Great hotel for a business traveler.
