I like the gum wall - It's great for pictures and artistic shots. If you're going to Pike Place Market, you might as well stop by and have a look. They have some interesting graffiti and art along the walls too. The walls are very colourful and quite beautiful, although I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole :P

I think what makes this famous is simply because you can only find it in Seattle. Its located in Pike Place Market. I joined the Seattle free walking tour with Jake and he showed us this place. Just took pictures. But to think about it this is the dirties place in Pike place market. Some even stick a post it message on it.

The wall is gross. If you ever smelled old gum laying out, it smells just like that in the alley. It's located in an alley which make it that much more smelly. Since it's on the way to the Pikes place you might as well swing by. The only thing I thought was cool was the history of it, make sure you spend reading on why. I just happened to hear someone giving a tour right by.

What can you say about a gum wall, anyway! photo ops abound, kids love to add their piece to the "sculpture". quick little side step to the market.

I wouldn't call this an attraction. If you are visiting Pike Place and haven't seen it, swing by and take a couple pictures as proof you were there. Then, continue shopping! I don't think you could spend more than a couple minutes there, but it was interesting to see!
