Had a Living Social voucher for this restaurant but before we could use it the restaurant marked our voucher "used". Called them and they claimed that Living Social made the mistake so contacted Living Social and they claim that the restaurant made the mistake. But the restaurant will not honor the voucher and Living Social will not give us a refund. So we are out almost $50.

I just looked up their King County Restaurant inspection record and their last inspection in January 2012 was Unsatisfactory and their inspection in September 2011 showed that they did not sanitize their food preparation surfaces and did not protect their food from contamination. So I guess I am glad we never ate at this place.

Its the 2nd time we ate here and both times were great- come hungry as you get good portions for low price. Had the taiwan staple pork chop rice both times and they dont disappoint. You will love this dish especially if you like meat- the pork chop is large compare to other joints and you dont get just one, but two large pieces. Also had stinky tofu which was good as well. It has been a must stop last 2 times we went to Seattle and that will continue. Main downside of the place is that its tiny and cramped and you most likely may have to wait. However, the service and waitresses are all very nice and accomodating.

My family visited the International District on Saturday for the Lunar New Year festivities. We were hungry, so we decided to find a restaurant and eat before driving home. I think we were really lucky to have found Henry's. I had creamy steamed cabbage with shrimp. It was very tasty. My husband had some kind of beef dish with preserved eggs. He enjoyed his meal as well. Our son's favorite food is steamed rice(believe it or not), so he was content with a bowl of rice. We also ordered a watermelon slushy for our son and he thought it was absolutely delicious!

The restaurant is comfortable, intimate(not TOO intimate) and clean. It's not a large, loud establishment. Its atmosphere provides for a relaxing experience. In addition, the prices are reasonable.

We'll be back :)

My husband (who is Taiwainese) and I have been to lots of great chinese restaurants and are from the Toronto area.

The service is excellent. The owner, Henry, take great pride in his restaurant and greats guests. It's a small restaurant in the International district of Seattle. The decor is tasteful and it's very clean. The menu is rather simple but the dishes we ordered were very good. We had the Kung Pao chicken and beef noodle soup. We wanted to "Shao lin pao" which is a steamed dumpling filled with pork and soup. The owner only makes this on certain occasions although we couldn't figure out when.

Prices were reasonable and food was overall authentic and good.
