“Great location and great customer service”
Reviewed 14 December 2011

Great location and great customer service. I only had brief interactions with the hotel employees because each time I needed something they took care of it quickly and painlessly! The room was as expected smallish and clean. We didn't have a view but we didn't expect one for the low price we paid. Parking was a little pricey but I suppose if I wanted to save some money I could have utilized the street parking but I don't like to search for a spot so I paid extra, seems fair. The heater worked well which was important with the freezing temps outside. We enjoyed the HBO since we don't have it at home. My only complaint is the WiFi was useless. It was too slow to work on our devices. It took nearly 25mins (usually takes about 3mins) to do our web check-in because it was so slow. They probably shouldn't advertise that WiFi is available when it works so poorly or not at all some of the time.

Very well located hotel, close enough to Downtown (5 min walk to Seattle Centre where you can take the Monorail to Downtown), and with great restaurants nearby (specially Toulouse Little Kitchen, a small Greek place and the Irish pub opposite Easy St. Records).
Staff is very friendly and you have a cracking view of Seattle (day and night) at the rooftop terrace.
Also very convenient for the Seahawks game as we took a bus a block from the hotel and took us to the ground very easily.

Room Tip: Choose a room away form the lifts.

We try a different hotel or B & B almost everytime we are in Seattle (about 5 times a year), so this was a first stay at this hotel. I can say with confidence that it won't be the last. It has many good things to offer from our point of view. Secure underground, gated parking is a starter. The many decent restaurants in the Queen Anne neighbourhood are a plus, not to mention that in poor weather you don't even need to go outside to enter the adjoining Starbucks. We like that the area actually has residences while also being close to the downtown. We love to walk, and therefore found it quite easy to walk to Pike's market, and even on to Century Link Field. The hotel itself has friendly staff, a fittness room, a business centre, and even laundary facilites for guests. It is clean and affordable too. Definitely worth a try!

Delightful hotel in Queen Anne neighborhood. Close to restaurants, shops, public transportation and two blocks from Seattle Center. Clean, efficiently designed rooms and excellent staff. Microwave and refrigerator in room and Starbucks shop off lobby. Around the corner from supermarket and two blocks from 24hour drug store and supermarket. Parking garage on site-$15 per day- is very tight.

First of all, although this hotel is smaller than the big name brand hotels, you can't beat the location, price and friendly staff. When I first saw the pics on-line I was skeptical until we drove by and was delighted that the hotel lit up the street. If you book online, you can find incredible deals with this hotel and if you want to extend your stay, the hotel staff is more than willing to match the online price! Two blocks away from the needle and city center. Also, the street that this hotel is on (Queen Anne) has a sprinkle of unbelievable restaurants and bars where you won't need to hail a taxi to get to. Two of which are featured in some publications as one of the best restaurants in the city. We visit Seattle twice a year and we will definitely stay here again.
* probably the only con is that this hotel does not have air-conditioning so we shall see what it will be like in the summer. However is Seattle and it doesn't get that hot that we would be uncomfortable.

The hotel is located within an hour or less walking distance to all of the big tourist sites (Space Needle, Pike Place). The room was close to a busy street, so I wore earplugs. I could not hear the other neighbors, the hotel was clean, and the overall, this was a nice comfortable hotel to call home for 5 days. Many of the services at the hotel include additional fees (including a few bucks for electricity use, $15 for parking, and other fees that you should research before staying here). Our Expedia price was $65/night online, but with all the additional costs, it came to about $90-$100/night. Of course, with any hotel you want to see if you are paying extra, but be extra cautious with this hotel if you're on a strict budget and really look at all that you have to pay for before going. The area felt relatively safe. Other than the fees, we found this place to be welcoming, especially after a beautiful rainy walk back from downtown.

We chose to stay here for our girls weekend in Seattle. Neither of us had ever been and didn't know the area or what to expect, but we loved this little hotel and the price was unbelievable!! We spent two nights here and the front desk staff was beyond amazing and so helpful - with recommendations on restaurants, places of interest, transportation, and all of our other random questions we seemed to have each day. I would say the staff is what made this stay so amazing! The room was very nice - good size bathroom, plus a small kitchenette. Very quiet area of town with easy access to the buses. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to all of my friends and family! Great, great stay at the Mediterranean!
