Stayed one night at the Mediterranean Inn....wonderful location....short walk to Pike Place Market, 5 minutes from Seattle Center, and lots of great restaurants in the area. The staff
at the front desk was amazing....very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious & the beds
were comfortable. The rooftop deck has a great view of the city....wonderful place to sit on a nice day. We stayed here with a Groupon, which included the parking....would definitely stay here
again instead of at a major hotel, where the service is often lacking.

One of the nicest stays I have had in Seattle. Close to Queen Anne and Seattle Center. The bus from the train station dropped me 2 blocks away. Nice sheets and towels that don't feel like industrial make for a pleasant evening.

Room Tip: Overlooking the courtyard is a quiet location

Thank you for your review! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the location and the amenities. Our towels and linen were actually just changed last summer to freshen up the rooms and we find that our guests love them!

Next time you are planning on being in Seattle, please let us know! We can secure you a quiet room facing the courtyard, or take any other request you may have.

Best Regards,

This is a real find in Seattle. I have stayed at many hotels in many cities, and after four nights at the Mediterranean, I can honestly say that I have never had better service. I had a view of the Olympic Range and Queen Anne Hill from my room. The neighborhood is particularly appealing with a two-block walk to the Seattle Center with its numerous attractions and a short walk (though strenuously uphill!) to the spectacular overlook at Kerry Park on Queen Anne Hill. A walk to Pike Place Market is a mile away but a very pleasant walk and an easy bus ride back with your bundles. You can open the windows for very fresh air. And it's great to have a full-service Starbucks in the lobby, with plenty of seating!

Nice hotel, would definitely use it again. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, giving us ideas of where we might eat for the evening. The hotel itself was clean and fresh. We had a corner room (515) which had views over part of Queen Anne and also across the rooftops to the sea. The bed was very comfy, we both slept well. There was also a big window seat (possibly could use as as single bed for an extra person), two chairs and a small kitchenette, plus of course the bathroom. No utensils in the kitchen at all, but don't panic .... there is a note saying go to reception if you want some. The hotel doesn't have it's own restaurants which suited us fine - we rarely eat breakfast or other meals in the hotels we stay in. It did have a starbucks adjoining the hotel which was handy for an early morning drink. There is no shortage of restaurants in the area, a really good choice of different types of food from mexican to vietnamese, italian and traditional diners. All within easy walking distance. There is also a supermarket and a liquor store just around the corner. This hotel is ideally located for the space needle and Chihuly, which are just a couple of blocks away. You can also get fab views of the space needle and the sea from the rooftop deck. It's a lovely place to sit ad drink a glass of wine on a warm sunny evening. Lots of parking under the hotel, but if you have a high vehicle space is a bit limited - only about 8 spaces that you can get into, providing thoughtless people with normal cars haven't parked their cars in them!
I thought this hotel was good value for money - definitely will use this one again.

Thank you for your review! I'm glad to hear that our accommodations and locale was suited to your stay. The neighborhood is great! So many restaurants to choose from, just as you mentioned. Because we have such a great location where we don't need a restaurant of our own, that frees us up to focus on taking care of our guests and offering affordable, comfortable stays.

Next time you come back to Seattle, give us a call! We can always offer the best deal to you directly, and we can take any requests for specific rooms as you'd prefer.

Front desk staff helped us find a great place to hike, and gave dining and nightlife suggestions too. They were very knowledgeable about Seattle attractions, as well as off-the-beaten-path sights. And SUPER friendly!

Room Tip: We were on the 4th floor and mostly faced a red brick wall. But we could see the water above the building. Probably can't see the water below the 4th floor.
