Stayed for a couple of nights at the end of June, we wanted to be close to attractions as we didn't want to have to drive to everything. Great location!! Room was very clean & well maintained, there were a few minor things paint chips etc, but since the hotel is old it is to be expected. Very satisfied.
Emily at the front desk was a great help at check in after a miscommunication before my arrival. All in all - a great stay & I would definitely go back again when I am in the area.

Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate knowing that Emily so helpful to you before and during your time here, so thank you for mentioning her.
We are in a great location, and as you mentioned, one can get around easily without having to drive. I'm glad that you enjoyed it! We look forward to having you back the next time you are in Seattle!

Coming from the East, I was expecting rooms to be larger and more value for one's money. We did not find this when we stayed at the Mediterranean. Our smallish room had one double bed and was a bit outdated. It was a lovely 20 - 30 minute walk to Pike's Market and Dock 52. Staff was thoughtfully helpful. We could not get an extended check-out, but were able to relax on the upstairs deck (Adirondack chairs) once we checked out.

Thank you for your feedback! Our rooms are a bit on the cozier side, but with the in-room kitchenettes, large working desks, and other amenities, we think that we manage a lot in those smaller spaces. We update regularly (this will be our first summer with new bedspreads and linens), and are always finding new projects to keep our staff busy. If there were any specific suggestions, we always welcome those from the people that stay with us so feel free to pass them along.

I'm glad that even though we could not offer an extended check-out, that you were able to take in those great views on our rooftop deck. That is one of our favorite features and we are always thrilled to share it with our guests. We hope if your plans ever bring you back to Seattle, you can return to stay with us and enjoy those Adirondack chairs again!

Best Regards,
Kelsey Asplund

Location (It is an easy walk to Seattle Center for museums, special events and people watching and plenty of restaurants are close) and front desk staff were wonderful (like the city young enthusiastic and fun). Public areas were lovely. Great roof top sun deck with spectacular views. Room itself was okay but a but rustic. Housekeeping had to be dealt with a couple of times. Starbucks has a location off the lobby. There is a work out room available.

Room Tip: Remember no air and open windows. Higher floor and side street are best.

Thank you for your comments! I'm glad that you enjoyed the location and that our Front Desk staff were helpful during your time with us. We have a great spot here in the neighborhood, and from our roof deck our location helps provide some of those great views you enjoyed.

I was a bit unclear on what you meant by dealing with Housekeeping, so I can't speak too specifically, but I hope that any difficulties you had were quickly and easily resolved by our team.

Thank you again and we hope to have you back soon!

Room view - located across a narrow alley from another building/apartment. We needed to keep our blinds closed for privacy. Cost - we were charged a few hundred dollars over the actual cost of the room in error (the first night of our trip). We were then told it was a bank error. Finally, after an eventual discussion with the manager they realized the error! It took a day to fix and our bank has still not fully credited us back ("it can take up to 10 business days."). Our room key didn't work properly and we were told, " we might want to keep the room key card in its sleeve." Yes, a seemingly appropriate response (though we had kept it in its sleeve) if it had been mentioned in a professional tone and without rolling of eyes.
Wifi is not included in room cost. It is just under 5$/night.
The rooms were clean. Great view from the roof! Complimentary popcorn. A bit of a walk to anything -but not terrible (1.5 miles to Pikes, maybe .5 mile to Space
Needle). Cab to airport is 32$, reasonable.

Oh dear! I'm very sorry for your difficult experience here. The incorrect charges may already have cleared, but if there is any way that I (or anyone on our team) can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. I'm very sorry that you experienced anything less than great customer service from the front desk staff. I'm very confident that the tone used was unintentional - as every single individual here aims to create a positive experience every time- but it still should not have been something communicated carelessly.

I am glad to see that you enjoyed the world-class view from the rooftop deck! It is quite outstanding. And yes, though we are a bit of a distance to Pike Place Market, being about 5 city blocks from the Space Needle means that getting somewhere (hopping on the Monorail, bus ride, etc.) usually is fairly quick.

Thank you again for your patronage and feedback. If you are ever back in the Seattle area, we would be more than happy to have you back with us.

Best Regards,
Kelsey Asplund

Great location to space Needle and restaurants. Extremely expensive for what you actually get. Lobby and rooms are clean but small. LOTS of street noise through the closed window and the blinds would not pull down all the way letting in lots of morning light. $18 for parking and the inclines on the ramps in the lot scraped the bottom of our van so much that I thought we would get stuck on them. No internet in the rooms unless you want to pay $15 and at $300/night after taxes and parking is totally over priced. Nice view from the rooftop deck.

Thank you for your feedback! I'm sorry to hear that you didn't find us as great of a value as we aim to be for all of our guests. Our rates may have been higher than usual during your time here; the city of Seattle was more than booked for many days in June, and the demand saw increased rates.

The $4.99/night rate for Internet is aimed to be affordable to our guests; many places will charge all guests by including them in the room rate. We only want to ask those who plan on using those extra services to also pay for them. Our Business Center and free Lobby wifi is provided as an alternative as well. I'm sorry to hear that our parking garage was difficult for you. Driving out at an angle usually prevents most vehicles from any scraping or bottoming out.

We would welcome the chance to have you back with us at a future time if your plans ever brought you back down to Seattle. We have rooms that face our Interior Courtyard that will drastically cut down any street noise. Maintenance should have been able to fix any issue in the room such as you experienced with the blinds. I'm sorry if we didn't respond to any request in a timely manner. Our Front Desk staff can always match or beat any best rate online. Thank you again for your feedback.

Warm Regards,
Kelsey Asplund
