The Mediterranean Inn is located in the quaint Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. It is very clean and well appointed. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel has a large lobby area, a rather large exercise room with lots of machines and quite a large laundry area with lots of washing machines and dryers. The rooms are cozy with small kitchenettes. We had a view of the building next to us. So nothing to look out the window at. Although we didn't spend too much time in the room other than to sleep. Too much to do. Conveniently there was a full Starbucks just off the lobby. Great place to grab breakfast and take back to the room in the morning. The only negatives here were that the beds and pillows were a little hard for my taste, and you have to pay to park in their garage and for internet access. Parking was $18/day and internet was $4.99/day. The inn is close to Seattle Center where the Space Needle is located. Just a couple of blocks. The monorail is right there too and you can use it to go to the downtown. Very convenient. Lots of restaurants in the neighborhood to walk to as well.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the central courtyard if you want a view of any kind.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad that you enjoyed your time with us, and found our staff friendly and helpful; we aim to take care of our customers at every turn. On that front, I am sorry that the beds and pillows weren't to your liking. We do keep some softer pillows on hand for those guests that might prefer that - I'm sorry that you may not have known that option was available. We do hope to host you again soon, so keep that in mind for next time!

Cheers,
Kelsey Asplund

We were staying for only one night, as our flight left early the next morning. We knew check in was late (4pm), but we stopped by around noon to see if we might check in early. Our room was not available, but the gentleman at the desk (the guy with chickens....can't remember his name) offered to hold our luggage in their locked bag room. Wonderful! We spent the rest of the day wandering around the wharf and the Pike Place market (the 30-40 minute wait in line for pastries at Piroshky, Piroshky is WELL worth the wait). We took the monorail from near the market to the Space Needle and walked the block or two to the hotel, stopping at the Safeway across the street for snacks & beer. We checked in that evening, got our bags from the locked bag area and headed to our room on the sixth floor. It was a nice, clean room with a great view, but the real surprise was on the rooftop. Fabulous view of the harbor and the Space Needle, and we even got a glimpse of Mount Rainier. We were sorry we only stayed one night!

Room Tip: A room on the sixth floor offers a great view.

Location, location, location...this hotel is a short walk from a number of great restaurants and the Seattle Center (Space Needle, Chihuly Glass Museum, etc). There is onsite parking ($18 a night I believe), but its walking distance saves money on parking in other areas of Seattle. The room on the hotel is a must, go up and enjoy a sunset, take in the sights of Mt. Rainier. It is a great little hotel and I would definitely stay again.

Thank you for the feedback here! Yes, parking is $18/night, but it really isn't necessary if one's plans are mainly within the city. As you mentioned, we have a wonderful location that is 5 blocks walking to many spots in Seattle Center, as well as on a major bus line to get folks quickly downtown for everything else in the city. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your time in Seattle, and we hope to have you back!

We stayed for four days at the end of the June. You know what? This is a solid hotel. Check in was super smooth. Front desk staff was very helpful and answered all questions. When I told Patrick we were renting a car Saturday night, he let us know parking was free on the street overnight. We stayed on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel. The room was very, very clean and the queen bed comfy. Sure there is no AC, but we left the windows open and the ceiling fan on high while we were out and the temp was fine. The small kitchenette was adequate. It helped that there was a Safeway next door. The Inn was a 5 minute walk to Seattle Center/Space Needle and maybe 25 minutes to Pike Place. The neighborhood was very vibrant and active and yes, a little loud. But hey, it's a city. Noise happens. I don't think we heard another guest in the adjoining rooms, so that was nice. Housekeeping left us alone as we had the "Shh... Sleeping" sign in the lock the whole time. We are happy to res-use our towels and linens on such a short stay. The towels were huge and awesome. They also had ice cold water in the lobby (plain old ice water and cucumber-lemon too). The rooftop deck provided a great view. The elevators were slow, so if possible, use the stairs to the left. Starbucks off the lobby was helpful as well. There are many dining options in the area. Use the 1 or 2 bus or the Rapid Ride D line to get to Inn. All-in-all we were very satisfied with our stay.

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad to hear that the Front Desk Staff was helpful with getting you the information you needed and that you were able to take advantage of free street parking.
As you mentioned, not all of our rooms have A/C, but due to our mild climate it is rarely an issue which seemed to be your experience. Aside from that it seems we helped you enjoy a great time in the city; we'd love to have you back at any time!

Stayed for a couple of nights at the end of June, we wanted to be close to attractions as we didn't want to have to drive to everything. Great location!! Room was very clean & well maintained, there were a few minor things paint chips etc, but since the hotel is old it is to be expected. Very satisfied.
Emily at the front desk was a great help at check in after a miscommunication before my arrival. All in all - a great stay & I would definitely go back again when I am in the area.
