Nice room, service and premises ovearll, as is expected of any Marriot. But I expected a slightly bigger room for the money we paid. It felt very cramped with 5 adults, but we just here for 1 night before getting on the cruiseship...which is a very short convenient walk away from this hotel.

There is nothing like sharing your vacation with 50 of your closet family members. Well the Marriott Waterfront Seattle handled everything to our expectations and beyond. Joseph Forrest and his staff of Honor and Lance made our arrival and check-in go like clock work. SSSmmmooooth. The Capt'n Fun Runners of Pensacola Beach, Florida travel somewhere in the world for a annual get together. The Marriott handled all of details with professional aplomb. Kudos to all of the staff.
The hotel is in an ideal location for visiting the majority of the major sites of Seattle. The Space Needle, the waterfront, Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Biscuit Bi... and Pike Place Brewery just to name a few. Will stay here again...but without my family.

Room Tip: Corner suites are large and sunny and face Puget Sound.

What a great location! Great view from water view room, and close to walk to market. Bus picks up across the street if you want a ride somewhere, and it's free around a certain loop. Pool is nice for a cool down or relaxation after walking all over during the day...it's half in and half outside. Hot tub is really small. Service at this hotel was really good. Starbucks right outside. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for high floor, water view. Ask NOT to be near walkway & elevator on the one side, or back b...

The only positive about this overpriced hotel is the location.
Paper-thin walls. Indifferent staff (at least when we were there in September, 2013).
But most insulting of all was the $12.95 per day charge per day if you want to access the internet from your room.
Are you kidding? In an age when every 2-bit mom and pop motel in America can offer free wireless, this place shows their greed by charging for it?
I guess they can technically get away with saying that they have free wireless because it is offered only in a tiny area in the main lobby.

Room Tip: Before you book, ask specifically if you can get free internet from your room.

Beautiful hotel, right near the water. Had a room overlooking ht marina, and Mt. Ranier. Absolutely stunning. Near Pike's Market and other seafood restaurants. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Two friends, my husband and I stayed at the Marriott over a weekend in September. The front desk staff was very accommodating (I don't like waiting in line after travelling but do understand that it is sometimes inevitable). Rainy and windy outside but warm and cozy inside. Strategically placed spots with fireplaces, bright bar area with attentive staff all with views of the Puget Sound. Our bed was excellent - neither my husband nor I had any issues with the bed or pillows. The room was clean; had a mini refrigerator and a one cup coffee maker - could have used a microwave and a spoon. All of the glasses were glass - does anyone else have an issue with this? I prefer the sealed up plastic cups - just a thought. Taxis were available right outside the front door in a covered area. The restaurant was a little pricey but the service was outstanding and the food was excellent (and up very quickly!). All in all a good weekend in Seattle.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the elevators in the main corridor.

We stayed for 3 nights on our first visit to Seattle. It was a great location for walking to all the key sights. Rooms were large and bed very luxurious and comfortable. Great little coffee maker in the room too! Would definitely recommend.
