“Great view and great service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2014

We stayed here the day before our cruise and two days after. We arrived before check-in time on both occasions. Both times they worked to get us in our rooms as soon as possible. The staff is pleasant and is very helpful. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. My husband does not like to sleep under a duvet, and housekeeping furnished us with blankets. It is very quiet. While everything is close, it is also very steep and hilly so be prepared. We would stay there again.

Room Tip: You must stay with a view of the waterfront. It is lovely.

Stayed at the Marriott Waterfront in mid May and was very pleased with the hotel accommodations and location. We walked everywhere and were able to see all of the big attractions we wanted to visit. Fun longer (15 minutes) walk to The Space Needle and short (5 minutes) walk to Pike's Place. The rooms are clean, comfortable and stylish. Definitely book a room with a view of the waterfront. The only warning I have is to anyone renting a car. Be ready to pay for valet. The less expensive parking lot is far off site and the valet is definitely the way to go!

Fairly new Marriott that offers great views and great location to downtown area. Walking distance to nice restaurants and nearby sites. This is a great choice to experience downtown Seattle. The rooms are clean, new, fresh and service is great. I'm a frequent traveler to Seattle, this is one of the best options.

We arrived recently the day before our cruise left for Alaska. Our room was not ready upon arrival, which I understood and they had us wait in the concierge lounge. The lounge is small but accomodated everyone and we had some snacks in the afternoon and evening. The staff in the lounge was very accomodating.

In about an hour our room was ready. We had requested feather free and it was ready when the room was assigned. The maid service was excellent. She checked to make sure the room was what we wanted and got extra towels, etc. She even came to the room the next morning to remove the roll away so we would have more room to get ready. We had a larger cornern room with a view of the ocean. A different shaped room, but comfortable and accomodated the three of us.

It is only a short walk to Pike Place market so we ventured out to shops etc and a target downtown to pick up some forgotten items for the cruise. We also made a reservation with the front desk for a shuttle service they contract with for a ride to the pier for our cruise. The van was clean and the driver friendly. We had to wait a few minutes for the van as it shuttles passengers back and forth.

We had dinner at the Hook and Plow that night. The servers were friendly and the atmosphere good however it seemed to take awhile for the food to arrive. The food was good and the menu varied and worked for us for dinner as we were all tired from traveling.

Staff is accomdating at this hotel, the rooms are clean and I would stay here again before another cruise.

Room Tip: We had an ocean corner room which gave us additional room for three people.

Green Features: The bathoom light was motion activated so it turned on upon entry and off again when you left.

I am a Platinum Marriott member and I have stayed at Marriott hotels all over the world.
The only thing this hotel has going for it is a great location -- in the middle of everything. You can walk to every attraction and to some good restaurants.

The lounge was awful. Someone left dirty underwear on the floor and we had to call it to the attention of staff. The lounge is small and crowded. Food is not replenished frequently enough. The lounge staff is not welcoming -- they barely say a word. The cappuccino machine was broken for THREE days -- they cannot get a repair person?

I have a standing order for extra towels in my profile -- honored everywhere. I had to ask for them and when the maid cleaned they were not replenished.

There were other problems -- this hotel needs new management.

Room Tip: There are waterfront rooms but the view is not spectacular

We were in Seattle for an Alaskan cruise. The hotel is in the perfect location for bot tourist and cruisers alike. The views were nice but limited from some room, even if you pay for the upgrade. My only issue was with one night manager who didn't seem to want offer assistance getting our bags to the cruise terminal. All worked out in the end. Take in everything on the waterfront.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for the Bay views.

Love it here!! The view is amazing and within walking distance to everything downtown. Room was super clean and my daughter lived the pool! Only downside is the expensive valet parking. This is definitely our new go to place when we visit Seattle!
