Had problems with the bill and had to call after 3 weeks to get my points added to account.. Concierge staff were not knowledgable, otherwise a good stay. Close to the ports and shopping, walking distance to Pike Place market. Fitness center small but adequate.

Room Tip: Water front

After booking online and requesting a double bed room with bay view, we arrived and were told our room was not yet ready. After waiting 2 hours, we were notified that a single bed, king room was assigned to us (for myself, husband and teenage daughter). Upon addressing this, the front desk clerk simply said that she thought she had mentioned this when we checked in, and that was all they had left, so she would send a roll away bed up. We all know how pleasant sleeping on cots are, especially at a cost of $450 per night. So, the room itself was pretty basic with a small bathroom and outdated decor. It would have been fine, except for the fact that I paid extra for a bay view. From inside the room, our view was only of other hotel rooms. If, however, I walked out on the one person balcony not big enough even for a chair, I could see the bay after all. Ridiculous.

This, coupled with the fact that the coffee bar ran out of soy milk the first day we arrived and never got any new (the hotel is 2 blocks from the market), the hotel bar bathroom was out of soap for 2 days, our room was never replenished with bottled water the whole time we were there and the restaurant had a 15 minute wait for the breakfast buffet with tons of empty, dirty tables left me with the impression that the staff was not well trained and the management staff was either not involved in the daily operations or just didn't care.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, but this is truly the only thing positive I have to say, and there are numerous other hotels to chose from in the same area. This is not your typical mariott and certainly not worth the price.

If you want to be up-close-and-personal with the Seattle waterfront this is the place. A little pricey when you add all the taxes and parking - but it is very convenient for a 1 or 2 night visit. Walking distance to the cruise terminal, Pikes Market and the original Starbucks. The staff was very friendly - offered directions and let us keep our bags stashed while we ran a few errands after checking out. There is a pedestrian elevator right next to the hotel to take you up to the market level without climbing the hill. Very convenient for older knees.

Room Tip: There is a trade-offf with a nice view in the front of the hotel and the noise you get from the street and the trolley. But I think the view is worth it.

My wife and I stayed here prior to our Alaska Cruise. Excellent location across from the harbor and walking distance to many restaurants including Pike Place. We had dinner at Anthony's Pier 66 which is across the street from the hotel on the patio facing the harbor. I highly recommend this restaurant for casual dinning as well. It has two venues under one roof.
The hotel has service to the cruise ships for $8.00 per person.
Will definitely select this hotel on our next cruise out of Seattle.

We stayed here for 2 nights in summer. It was our first time to Seattle, and walking to the hotel from the light rail was a bit of a hike, but once we found it, we were greeted and promptly given our room keys. We had a partial water view with a little balcony, which when open provided a great waterfront breeze. As a platinum member, we went to the lounge each night for snacks and cocktails. The attendant in the lounge was very friendly.

The hotel location is about a 5 minute walk to Pike's Place Market, a 10-15 minute walk to the island ferries and the ferris wheel, and about a 20 minute walk to the Space Needle. The location was really fabulous and solidified the decision to stay there. I can't wait to come back to Seattle and the Marriott.
