“Beautiful Campus that is Worth the Visit for the Scenary Alone”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

My spouse and I decided to visit the University of Washington just to see the campus. We have no real affiliation with the school, nor do we know anyone who goes there, so for us it was simply about taking in the sights and sounds. We were not disappointed. The campus was very pretty, especially since we had such a nice day when we visited. It was right around the end of the year so nothing was too crowded as I imagine the student body was either enjoying the weather or studying for finals. There is a lot to see, from the trees to the buildings to the waterfront. I'd recommend setting aside a good chunk of time for your visit. We made our way out to the stadium area and even rented a canoe from the Waterfront Activities Center which was the perfect highlight to end the trip. If you are a visitor looking for things to do, I'd suggest a trip up to the university if you enjoy nice surroundings.

“One of the most beautiful college campuses period”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

The entire "U" district is quite a sight! The night life is "lively" to say the least. Visit the campus and see how they framed Mt Rainer into the plaza. Depending on the time of year, it's a spectacular view. Oh...and it's a world class University to boot...just in case the younger traveler needs a great education later in life!

“Beautiful campus”

Wonderful campus, fun to see Bill Gates School of Law. Unbelievable architecture: quad with cherry blossoms, old original school buildings. Nice neighborhood, very comfortable.

“My Alma Mater- in bloom”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Worth a visit when the cherry blossoms bloom, and when the winds carry the petals into great drifts of pale pink "snow." March/April.

“Leisurely Stroll”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

We spent about an hour walking around the campus, enjoying their lush campus. The Library has the largest sized book in the world which was interesting, but don't go just to see it.
