My husband and I stayed here for 3 days in July. It is in a very central location, convenient to everything. The decor is not really my taste, but the beds and other furniture were all very comfortable. What really sets this hotel apart is the excellent service. The concierge, valet, restaurant staff and front desk were all extremely helpful, friendly and professional.
We visited during the Pacific Northwest "heat wave". The room A/C wasn't quite able to keep up with the warmer weather, however I doubt this is an issue most of the year.
Overnight parking is very expensive at this hotel. We had rented a car because we had other stops on our trip, but in the future, we will just use the very convenient light rail to get from SeaTac to the hotel (the stop is only 1 block from the hotel) and take advantage of the courtesy car that Fairmont offers if needed. There is also a Hertz location near the hotel if you want to get a car for a day to go somewhere outside the city.More
