I spent 5 days in this hotel on a recent business trip to Seattle.
LOCATION - The hotel is bang in the centre of downtown Seattle and you can easily walk to many fantastic restaurants and shops which is really useful. There was also a bus a few steps from the hotel which we were able to take to our conferences - really useful.
QUALITY OF SLEEP - This was my first time experiencing -8 Hour time difference and I found this hotel impossible to sleep in! I was moved room to a higher hotel room but alas I could still hear a lot of traffic, beeping and found this to be a real problem that would prevent me from staying here again.
FOOD - We only ate here for breakfast which was set in a beautiful room with high ceilings. Excellent service and the food was lovely. It consisted of many pastries, yoghurts, crème brueles with bananas! Delicious!! If you dined on your own they brought you a paper. The waiters also remembered you each morning!
STAFF - Staff could not have been more helpful - they directed us to some fabulous restaurants (try Lola's - it's greak and I have never tasted as nice food)! They also provided me with a lovely toothbrush and paste set as I forgot my toothbrush!
OVERALL EXPERIENCE - The décor of the hotel is incredible, beautiful high ceilings and it feels very luxurious! The decor of the rooms is dated but the rooms are huge and clean. I had two double beds for 1 person and a really large bathroom and separate shower room! The minibar was expensive $8 for water, items such as ear plugs and bottles of water that were unopened went missing from my room (both of which were needed!) so that was disappointing. Overall it was a very comfortable stay but I think I would stay in Bellevue next time to ensure essential sleep is had!!!
