This museum is in the Pioneer Square part of Seattle and I was the only one to visit it during this particular day. The displays are wonderful, very well organized and the lady on duty this particular day was very, very helpful and explained a lot of things about the museum and exhibits. There is even a display where the youngsters could try on a police uniform and hat. A nice touch. Plan to spend a few hours at this affordable ($4) museum and take in all the exhibits and read all about it. Well recommended.

If u like police history then this affordably priced place is worth the visit. There are a ton of police patches on the wall. The historical artifacts and documents are behind cases but great to view. You can try on police uniforms and sit at a replica 911 call desk. There is a replica jail cell too. The exhibits go right up to present day. For the price it was well worth it.

The museum is downtown and is round the corner from the gold rush museum. It gives the background and a brief history of the SEattle police. Nice exhibits well explained and if you have a spare hour it's worth visiting. The lady on the cash desk gives some tips on places nearby that are worth visiting

This is not a destination museum but one worth a look on a rainy day or if passing by. Excellent value for money at $4 entry fee and some interesting artefacts.

I am sad to say the this little museum was a disappointment. It has clearly been a labor of love for someone to compile, and there are interesting artifacts. But compared to other police museums we've visited, this one is not up to par. The history of the Seattle police force is fairly interesting, but the content is typed out on display cards that can be difficult to read. The curator has not taken advantage of any technology to enhance the displays. There is a modest admission fee of $4. Perhaps if this museum had been our 1st stop of the day, I wouldn't have been so disappointed, but we had visited the fantastic Klondike Gold Rush museum next door first which was really super. Hopefully, the curator can keep improving the police museum because the topic is worthwhile and the history interesting.
