“Round and round 3 times”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 October 2013

The line was short and we got into a car very quickly on a weekend. The cars are temperature controlled and comfortable. You go around 3 times and you get a great view that you would otherwise not get. The price was good and a fun diversion.

“Great fun and excellent views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 October 2013 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

I've been on the Great Wheel three times now and thoroughly enjoyed each. The wheel makes three full revolutions plus part of another whilst people are being unloaded and loaded. This is about right to enjoy the tremendous city and sea views. Sunset particularly is spectacular. The carriages are air conditioned, comfortable, stable and visibility out of them is excellent. You can swap seats for different views without crazy swinging of the carriage. One warning for families with small children, my youngest daughter was a little scared of being so high up in a mostly glass carriage, however it was a short enough ride that it wasn't an ordeal. I would recommend giving it a go. One point off because it is a bit spendy especially for a family.

“Beautiful View even on a foggy morning ...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2013

Climb in to a climate controlled car and enjoy the ride. The cars have panoramic windows all around to catch magnificent views. The ride takes you around threes times. Maybe just a one time thing or if you are with other tourists but definitely a must so you can say you did. Conveniently deposits you in front of what appears to be an old warehouse converted into a restaurant and bar and a beautiful carossel.

“Slow going fun”

We did not have to stand in line very long and really enjoyed the view. The Wheel does not move that fast but the car is like a tram that made us feel very safe taking the 2 1/2 year old on the ride.

“Go at sunset. Trust me.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2013 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

The wheel provides an amazing view of the sound, and the mountains to the north. Unfortunately, the view of the city itself is less than stellar, but the line was quick and the tickets weren't too terribly overpriced.
